Nick Raskulinecz has some real hits and misses for me. He did a great job with Foo Fighter's One by One (All My Life sounds amazing) and Rush's Snakes and Arrows, but he absolutely killed the vibe of Thornley's Tiny Pictures (how can you make Ian Thornley sound boring?) and Rush's Clockwork Angels was a sonic disaster.maximzub wrote: ↑Fri Aug 04, 2023 11:04 am Very true words. I know it will never happen in a million years, but what do you think Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Mammoth WVH, and the rest of the Elvis circle bands would sound like with Nick Raskulinecz as a producer? He produced Halestorm's Back From The Dead, which is one of the most emotional hard rock albums I've ever heard. I think his production may have something to do with it. He seems to know how to get the essence of the song across.
I'd like to see maybe Nolly Getgood (everything that guy touches sounds like gold) or maybe even Bob Rock (if he hasn't retired!). They both make sonic masterpieces, even if the material isn't up to snuff.
EDIT: Maybe Eric Valentine? He made Slash's debut solo album sound absolutely incredible.
