November South American Tour 2023

It's a stretch to call this a tour as it's only three dates. But it's something. Maybe they will announce something else in the meantime.

I can't seem to find what are the opening acts for this tour. Anyone know?

These aren't small venues, by the way. The capacity for these shows are around 7,000-8,000 people. I actually recognize the name of the venue they are doing the Argentina show, Luna Park. That's where Dream Theater did a live DVD for a show back around 2012 or so.

I mean 3 shows is on the low side, sure. Technically, their UK tours are only 5-6 shows a leg. It's just they have the rest of Europe to fill in the remaining 15-20 or so shows for the month. Can there be hope for somewhere like Asia and Australia in that time frame? Perhaps.

I never considered UK tours to be separate from European tours. The country is part of Europe, after all.

If you ask some people that question, some will disagree with that.

I'm so happy, I'll finally be able to see them as Alter Bridge, the guys came with Creed in 2012 and Myles has come 4 times with Slash so this is finally the moment I've literally dreamed so many times

To be fair, in many countries in mainland Europe there is no distinction between Europe and the UK. In English-speaking countries the distinction is present though.

I'm from an English speaking country and I don't make the distinction. Then again, my heritage is from mainland Europe, and I was just there for three weeks. (It wasn't my first time there either.)

Only one show in Brazil and it's Wednesday. Not good at all. I am happy they're coming, but most of fans can't make it.

A random thought popped up. About a few weeks to go until these shows happen and that's it for AB as far as we can tell in the near future. I wonder if these shows are going to be filmed? I don't see why not. Solid venues, passionate crowd. It would be nice if they are able to get at least 3 Pawns & Kings songs on proshot. It can give something some fans can look forward to in 2024 that has no interest in the bands that everyone else is going to do in 2024.

It sure would. However, we already have two from Graspop: Silver Tongue and Sin After Sin. I'm hoping they can get This Is War and Pawns & Kings on there too, though.

All right, first show of the final stand for AB, as far as we know right now. They are in Brazil. Hope for a good one for these fans that's waiting a long time to see them as they are.

This was so cool, they were re-learning how to play Lover on stage.

That's not too bad. Even though I assumed that they aimed for even bigger venues.

Interesting that Myles said they haven't played Lover in years. The last time they played Lover was last year. I was there when they played it acoustically at the Pawns & Kings Listening Party.

Damn, I've been a fan since 2004, when I was 10 years old and saw the video for Open Your Eyes on MTV and recognized "the guitar player from Creed". Last night was my first time seeing AB playing. After the concert was over I was feeling melancolic and I brushed it off thinking it was just the nostalgia and what not, but I felt the same today and googled it and found out about Post Concert Depression. Has anybody here ever experienced it? It's my first time and its been a bit weird.
