Andy92 wrote: Fri Aug 04, 2023 11:50 am Thanks for the heads up. I was bummed to see the cruise had sold out but Wolfie1984 came through! The ticket has a disclaimer on it that says my room is going to be on a lifeboat attached to the back of the cruise ship via a long chain, but no matter. When I called customer support they promised to throw a rope ladder over the port side of the cruise ship an hour before Creed takes the stage. Pretty pumped!
Is that really the only option? My friend (who's afraid of sharks) is trying to contact Wolfie1984, but he doesn't speak English. He only speaks Belgian and can read Latin, and the communication with Wolfie1984 isn't going well.

But I'm afraid if he hears about the lifeboat situation, he's going to be too scared.
I was planning to buy a life jacket with the words “Not Shark Food” printed on it so they would know not to bother with me. I’d be happy to order two just in case he wants one!
That's a good idea! But he doesn't read English, so I'm not sure if that would work.

Thanks! I talked to him and he said you can buy him a ticket. On the boat you will be able to recognize him by his orange cargos.

Sorry about the room situation Andy. Wolfie1984 told me that he gave the last good one to Midnight Toker.

I don't understand why he has been confrontational. According to Wolfie1984 he was the first person to PM him. I think he intentionally tried to dissuade others from PM'ing Wolfie1984 so that he could secure the best tickets for himself.

However I have just heard directly from Wolfie1984 via a friend of a friend that he is about to secure a batch of VIP tickets. These come with a complimentary tattoo of one of the following Creed lyrics:

Well I jush Hur da noos 2dayeh
Yaseeeaahhhh
Can you tek me hiyaaa

Act fast because they won't be around for long

PM Wolfie1984 for more info

Thanks

Was just coming to post this ^^^

I don't know what that clip is from, but it doesn't sound like Mark's tone and the kick drum doesn't sound like Scott, either.

I am guessing it's new solo stuff, but new Creed would be a fantastic surprise.

Got to be new solo music. Haven't seen anything posted by the other guys or Creed's official account yet.

The only thing that leads me to it potentially being new Creed and not solo Stapp is the fact that Stapp is specifically hashtagging #creed with his post.

True, but we know that he has no problem with using Creed to promote his solo work - but I hope I am wrong.

Very likely not Creed - after checking the Scott Stapp solo thread - chtimixeur has a post where a producer says he mixed 4 songs off the upcoming Stapp solo record - and this was only 3 weeks ago.

Its not Creed (or its very unlikely). He said at his most recent solo show that he has new music on the way and he's mentioned several times throughout the year that he wants a new album out in fall.

This short interview is interesting. They talk about the cruise being the only thing booked in, so I guess we will have to see how it unfolds. My fingers are still crossed for some new creed material.

I think they're gonna do something that 2012 record. I feel like they might even put it out but not tour it. They've referenced it a lot

For those who won't watch the whole interview, he talks about Creed at 6:14 and says this:
That was something I think managers were talking about for a long time before the artists were approached. And so then we were approached and everyone signed on. [We] thought it would be a good way to kind of kick things off and see what happens."

"We don't have anything planned after that right now. It's baby steps. But you know what? Relationships were positive, we support each other. And so we'll see what happens from there. But right now I'm just excited to get back on stage with those guys. I respect them all so much. And I can't wait to have a good time on that cruise and play some CREED tunes."

Creed made a post on X that said "you asked, we answered. More Creed tomorrow".

Then they deleted it and replaced it with this Creed Summer of ‘99 AND BEYOND.

Sweet, the more the better.

My guess is that Creed will continue to happen on a situational basis - but it probably won't fully join the AB/Tremonti/SMK rotation. Although, if they do finally release the CD they already wrote, hopefully they tour it. It would be awesome to get a single, or at least I hope they play 1 or 2 new songs on the cruise.

How about a 2nd cruise? Instead of 3 Doors Down, Daughtry will fill the spot instead. Can't they just go ahead and do the simple thing and book the amphitheater tour with either 3 Doors Down or Daughtry?

It's not that simple. You need everybody to have a free window of time, managers, promoters, dates and demand.
