Boston (band)

Post by Scarface »

One of the greatest rock bands of all time, one of the greatest singers of all time. Anyone else love these guys?

Long Time is one of my all time favorite songs. Tom Scholz deserves way more credit than he gets

I love these guys!

I had the pleasure of seeing Tom Scholz play 3 songs with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra a couple years ago. Cranking out Foreplay on that giant pipe organ in the theater was incredible.

RIP Brad.

Their self titled album is arguably my favorite classic rock album of all time. Amazing record.

Agreed. Ranks right next to Journey's Escape for me. Everyone knows every song.

Has anybody listened to the new (partially new anyways) album? I'm listening to Sail Away at the moment, the mixing is awful on it!

EDIT: I'm listening to Heaven on Earth now, the drums are terrible. The guitars sound cool though.

I've always loved the guitar work from these guys. Isn't Tom Scholz the guy responsible for the rockman amp? Def Leppard recorded their entire Hysteria record through Rockman's.

Boston was some of my first exposure to guitar driven rock. My dad used to listen to it in the car and I was like 6 or 7 and just looking at the tape with the cool album cover on it . Nowadays I still love to listen to them , "Dont Look Back" and "Peace of Mind" are my FEEL GOOD ATHEMS!!

Has anybody got the new album "Life, Love & Hope" yet??

I think it could be either really good or really dull, even though I do love Boston.

Haven't really heard all that much about it considering the profile of Boston (in my opinion) - haven't even seen so much as a review of the album anywhere!

Yes, those first 2 albums are epic.
Great production also if you consider the age of those albums

Boston is like an old friend from high school, you may not hear from them for awhile but any time you do it's gonna be a good time.
