I know it will never happen in a million years, but what do you think Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Mammoth WVH, and the rest of the Elvis circle bands would sound like with Nick Raskulinecz as a producer? He produced Halestorm's Back From The Dead, which is one of the most emotional hard rock albums I've ever heard. I think his production may have something to do with it. He seems to know how to get the essence of the song across.
Nick Raskulinecz has some real hits and misses for me. He did a great job with Foo Fighter's One by One (All My Life sounds amazing) and Rush's Snakes and Arrows, but he absolutely killed the vibe of Thornley's Tiny Pictures (how can you make Ian Thornley sound boring?) and Rush's Clockwork Angels was a sonic disaster.

I'd like to see maybe Nolly Getgood (everything that guy touches sounds like gold) or maybe even Bob Rock (if he hasn't retired!). They both make sonic masterpieces, even if the material isn't up to snuff.

EDIT: Maybe Eric Valentine? He made Slash's debut solo album sound absolutely incredible.

Nick produced Halestorm's previous album, Vicious, as well. The album kinda sucks, production included. But I feel like it was more the band's fault. They were very uninspired to write songs for it (as Lzzy admits herself), and I guess the unenthusiasm spread over to the production side of things. It's entirely possible that the albums you mentioned that were misses by Nick could have had the same fate.

Then again, I forgot that Scott Stevens also co-produced Back From The Dead. Maybe it's his work that makes the album shine? Either way, I'm not good at analyzing producers and their trends except for Elvis because I've heard so much of his stuff. I also don't know about that many producers in general.

This song keeps coming up for some reason. I’ve been cooking dinner to it… when I drive to work at 2 am it randomly comes on the radio…

Not sure why…

Maybe I should watch “Dirty Dancing” again for the 10,000th time 😊

Crazy as it sounds…He did it! In high school he joined the band and played the flute. He played me that song in his band uniform. I’ll never forget that and every time I hear that song. I think of him! He was killed in his 20’s…in a train accident. He was trying to cross the tracks ahead of the train. He didn’t make it. He was a wonderful person and taught me about goals and how to pursue your dreams even when you don’t have any support.
So sorry to hear about your brother. :hug

Thanks You! Hugs…
I had a dream years later after the accident. He sent me this song in my dream. He is in a much better place.❤️

Been listening to a couple albums the last few days to catch up on the 2023 releases I figured I would enjoy before it gets too close to the end of the year

So far in 2023 I've listened to:
Xandria - The Wonders Still Awaiting
Beyond The Black - Beyond The Black
Eleine - We Shall Remain
Ad Infinitum - Chapter III: Downfall
Delain - Dark Waters
Ultraviolet - As Everything Unfolds
The Dark Side of The Moon - Metamorphosis
Elysion - Bring Out Your Dead
Within Temptation - Wireless (EP)
Periphery - PV: Djent Is Not A Genre
Mammoth WVH - Mammoth II
Sleep Token - Take Me Back To Eden
The Raven Age - Blood Omen
Holocene - The Ocean

I have 17 more albums and growing lined up for the year tho.

Lovebites - Judgement Day
Babymetal - The Other One
Frozen Crown - Call of the North
Unleash The Archers - TBA (assuming it comes out in 2023 and not 2024)
Conquer Divide - Slow Burn
Sirenia - 1977
Mark Tremonti - Christmas Classics New & Old
Avenged Sevenfold - Life Is But A Dream…
Tesseract - War of Being
Dayshell - Pegasus
Metallica - 72 Seasons
Sevendust - Truth Killer
Haken - Fauna
Godsmack - Lighting Up The Sky
Kamelot - The Awakening
Theory of A Deadman - Dinosaur
Katatonia - Sky Void of Stars
