I kind of hear the resemblance between those 2 songs (same kind of riff, same vibe overall).alterswede wrote:Sounds abit like Wish You Well...
Ubik is right. It is FACE not faith.Ubik wrote:Ooh that would make sense!OprahWinfrey wrote:

I think that deserves a thread on its own..AB23 wrote:So someone take a crack at explaining the lyrics please

Both would make sense given that the next line is "someday you're going to lose it all" to lose face or to lose faith. I hear the face sound, but it's not impossible that a low quality video would distort the sound enough to do that.Decay wrote:Ubik is right. Oprah's right too.
I'm definitely also hearing "face"Ubik wrote:Faith would definitely make sense, but I just can't hear it in there, and my version isn't that low in quality (272 kbps according to media player).

This new Alter Bridge album fucking rips! Man alive, there is some almighty riffing going on here. Tremonti in full-on beast mode.
@RafaDavies Huge. Like...mountainous huge.
A roadrunner guy says "it's a total beast isn't it?", then:@RafaDavies The best of all of the classic rock tinged bands by a million miles. Think Halestorm will compete soon though.
Then roadrunner guy -@dannyjcorr Unbelievable. The last one was top draw but this is WAY beyond what I thought they were capable of.
Looking forward to Dom Lawson getting it, he reviews for the Guardian now. This could be big.@Beez_says yep. Wasn't into them til ABIII which was great but this one blows it away. V excited to be working it!!
YES VINYL! DO IT! PLEASE!Tails wrote:Pumped for some faster AB stuff like addicted, its killer!!
Really hoping they release the album and hopefully singles too on vinyl, starting to get a good collection : )
I agree. Blackbird's my favorite. I think they should stick to that sound and I hope they don't get too deep on experimenting. Blackbird for me was already enough though ABIII was a great addition.Andy92 wrote: I thought BB was about as good a mix as they'll ever get. AB III had too few of Mark's signature solos imo.
