Manchester United to win Premier League title #14 come next May , David Moyes just needs to sign a central midfielder to slot in alongside Michael Carrick, and maybe another proven striker in case Wayne Rooney does leave
Gareth Bale is a good player but he is NOT WORTH breaking the world transfer record for

No way will Man UTD win the Premier League this year.
Re: Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
Still got the best striker in the league, if the right additions are made and Rooney's sold abroad (rather than to Chelsea) United have as much change as anyone. Both those conditions are admittedly unfulfilled right now though...
For all of the hope that it brings...

Man UTD will finish 3rd this season. It'll be between Chelsea and Man City for the title.

People said that last year too!

I'd like to see Arsenal do well this year. It's good to freshen up the top of the table.
Re: Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
Manchester United will win this year, again.

Re: Back of the Net! - The Football Thread
Arsenal won't get into the Champions League again unless they sign Suarez. And even if they sign him, he may end up costing them through all the matches he misses through suspension. If Real Madrid get fed up with chasing Bale, they will probably take Suarez for half the price, so Wenger needs to move quick.
If Spurs keep Bale through some miracle, they've got a hell of a team moving forward this season. Lloris, Walker, Vertonghen, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele, Lennon, Bale and Bobby Soldier (Roberto Soldado) up front.

I'd like to see Suarez go to Arsenal so that the Gooners would be laughed at for slagging him off all last season and then worshiping him when he wins them their first trophy for a decade.

Just got back home from a game, I went to Belgrade today to watch Red Star vs Chernomorets. (UEFA Europa League - qualifications). The boys gave it all, they've been attacking the whole game, but couldn't score. Damn you, Chernomorets.
