Blinded By Hope is an alternative metal band from Adelaide, Australia.
This is artistic music and is not simplistic, mainstream pop music. The aim is to take the listener on a journey – an emotional rollercoaster of highs and lows.
When writing music, the song is always the first priority. Complexity and technicality comes second to the song. It’s not about showing off, it is about creating powerful music that means something.
Blinded By Hope is all about creating full length albums and not just individual songs. Yes each song can be listened to individually but the experience is far greater when heard in context on the album.

Hey man, that's very cool! The music gives me strong Deftones/Karnivool vibes but what I like is that you guys never go for 'obvious transitions' between sections and you keep the listener at the edge of the seat. I love the syncopation and the overall progressiveness as well

Yesterday I played live for the very first time in my life! I'm the guy on the right hand side rocking the cherry PRS McCarty. Below one of the songs we played, would be great if you could check it out.

Its been forever since I've been on these boards and a lot of life has happened to all of us. I hope everyone here are doing great. I remember playing guitar since the day I remember listening to Tremonti's music through Creed back in 2001. Over the years I've had the opportunity to jam with a lot of musicians and be part of bands that have allowed me to create and express. After a long time away from performing, I've been jamming with a band since 2023 and we've written a couple of albums worth of material that we are gradually going to record and should have some singles coming out over the next couple of months. The band is called "Dhuãn" which means smoke!. I play the bass(although my primary instrument is a guitar), at times guitars and vocals too, but the most exciting bit is the songwriting.

Am gonna leave some footage here from our debut gig last year with a couple of covers and an untitled original which is releasing soon.
The videos feature my first and only guitar, which is a 2005/2006 Tremonti SE (with the moon inlays). FYI, I sing on Gardenia .
