Well, it's in South Carolina, so I presume it shouldn't be all that bad in comparison to either LA or New York and the cities around NYC.

You know. When push comes to shove, I think my timing on certain things went well for my upcoming San Francisco trip. Bought the Metallica two-day pass for $275.00 on Stubhub and now the secondary markets has them for $650.00+. Bought the flight and hotel on Expedia for $420.00. Now it's going for $772.00. Thank goodness, I didn't wait for either of those. Still have to fly in United as opposed to Delta or Alaska, but whatever. It's a short flight.

Arkansas threw the silent 's' on the end so that it would be the only state that starts with 'A' that doesn't end with 'a'. Spread the word.

It really is infuriatingly spelled. Looking at it, my brain refuses to say it any way other than Ar-kansas.

I also think this board should commit to making Kev carbon neutral by 2050.

A) glad you indirectly agree!
B) Hmmmm…. Time to start looking into how to update the board’s banner….

Just make sure it has an actual driver if you want to survive.

Nothing drastic bud, we're just putting together a taskforce to curb your emissions.

If you want me to curb my emissions, do you want cover some of the cost of the Tesla that I could purchase?

Rip Ride in the Dark!

Post by MaraCarr »

I am about to complete another bucket list item! I’ve been sitting here at Universal watching the sun set over the park …I’m waiting for the moment to ride “Rip Ride Rock-it” in the dark! Just a few more minutes!

Edit: It is better than I expected! Great Coaster!!!

Re: One drawing a day that tells a never-ending story with input from followers?

Post by zazthespaz »

A few years ago, someone made an Instagram account that went viral pretending to be some hot 20-something wannabe model, but a few weeks/months into the account being active, the creator revealed they were really a company promoting the dangers of alcoholism (every picture on the account, alcohol was involved in the background - I don't remember the specifics). It surprised me that they were able to go from 0 to thousands of followers in a matter of weeks and always seemed like a fun challenge for me. I've been toying with the idea of trying to make an account go viral for a few months, especially as I realize how fast some of the accounts I follow have grown, problem is I don't know what to make an account around to go viral with. The best I've had so far is an account pretending to be Woody from Toy Story, but I've found a couple of accounts that tried and failed with little effort; kinda want to do something original. So here I am, crowdsourcing for ideas - hit me with fun social media account shenanigans. I'm in marketing so this is more than a vanity/ego-fulfilling project, I'm curious to see how challenging it can be and it'd probably be a good resume-builder if successful. So 3, 2, 1, throw me ideas.
