Easily The Last Hero.

And it looks like I have to update my album spreadsheet since you're putting Breathe at Track 13, haha. I'll do it when I'm able to, but you may have to revise your rankings it you add to it. :p

The Last Hero is the only one on these which I would actively listen to. Although Tear Us Apart I don't mind.

Last Hero, not even close. But it's a top 5 AB track for me.

Though I will always like Wayward One and Life Must Go On as well.

Haven't been able to get into Tear Us Apart as much as I'd hoped it would grow on me.

I don't mind the order being different. You don't have to update it if you ask me. Great work by the way, I really love what you did there!

Wayward One - Unsung hero of a song. Haunting verses, beautiful chorus, classically inspired bridge, fantastic solo.

Runner up for me is Breathe.

Also, points to Life Must Go On for pulling the same trick as Forever Falling where halfway through the song you realise the clean intro fits into the chorus. Clever Mark.

The Last Hero is a prime example for a song where the individual parts are better than the song as a whole. But even then, it's probably my least favourite AB "epic". Still a good track, to me not as good as it could've been.

Life Must Go On is my winner here because it's a beatiful song. Wayward One is a great ballad as well. I don't really care that much for the rest.

Wayward One by far. The solo is one of my favorites and the bridge is incredible.

I like The Last Hero, but it’s kind of overrated in my opinion. It’s one of those songs that while it’s an ‘epic,’ it doesn’t even come close to touching their other epics.

The Last Hero. Although I am surprised Breathe isn't getting any love yet.

The Last Hero, it's a great. Diddly-diddly-dun-dun-dun is one of my favourite riffs they've done. Lacks a bit in the chorus department compared to Cry of Achilles and Fortress but that's a high bar.

Glad Wayward One is getting its dues as well.

Would... would you like to?

I'll tell you what, when I hear Breathe, in context it is quite beautiful. I hear it after hearing a relentless fourteen tracks in what is The Last Hero, with the loudness war in the mixing and arrangements. Then comes in this song with a very clean sounding, moderately quite tone where Myles' voice is deep, rich, and has the slightest of a growl that provides so much tone.

That being said, the first minute of the song is the best one (actually, I like the second verse as well), and against the rest of the good parts of the ODR lineup it's just okay. Just compared to that of TLH it stands out in this way of: "Now why don't they do songs like this anymore?"

Breathe is beautiful but it seems unfinished. I still love MK's voice on this more than any of the others. Wayward One is close, too, but I have to go with TLH for the whole of the song.
Another photobucket casualty... :(

I'm sad for Wayward One but it has to be The Last Hero. I would sell a kidney to see both songs live.

I went for The Last Hero, always liked it very much. The second phrase "Once again the dogs are out for blood" always gets me somehow.
Wayward One is very underrated in my opinion. A very, very good song, great bridge and an awesome solo. I also like the way Myles is singing in the verses.

Wow, I looked at this lineup of songs and thought "hmm, I bet it'll be a tossup between Wayward One and Life Must Go On." And then everybody's all gaga for The Last Hero. I honestly just had to go listen to it again to see if there was something I was missing. I must be a bit of an outlier, I don't really get the overwhelming greatness of TLH just like I didn't get it for Lover in the other poll. For me, it's still a tossup between the first two I mentioned and I don't know if I can really decide. TLH is a great song on its own, but it doesn't reach out and grab me the way those other two do.

The verses, the main riff and the bridge of The Last Hero are all fantastic. I've just never been able to get over the chorus.

Which is why I'm going with Life Must Go On.
