It's a great feeling. I'm only like 60-75 minutes away from LA. Only 15 minutes away from Anaheim. Around 20-30 minutes away from Irvine. If I still reside in Diamond Bar, going to concerts would have been a lot worst traveling wise. It would be like an additional 30-45 minutes of driving time. Moving to Garden Grove was a great decision for my family to make.

It sucks that big bands don't play in West Virginia often for you, Andy.

We get some decently big country artists. Demographic just sucks for rock and metal here. Some friends of mine almost had Trivium down to play at a renovated club for its grand opening but the fire marshal shut the place down for poor inspection the day of the show lol. Band was cool to do an autograph session in the parking lot...

I’ve gotta drive at least an hour to see bands like Shinedown on occasion. It’s closer to 3 hours for anything bigger than that.

I Prevail is actually a pretty decent live band, 8/10, would recommend!

Ever wonder if anybody in the Harry Potter world had a patronus of a blue whale? Like, they’re in class, summon their patronus for the first time and absolutely destroy half of the left wing?

I know I didn't see him, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was there in some way. I knew he sent a tweet that he saw them live at the Jimmy Kimmel show, the day prior. I sent a response tweet saying that I was at their Orpheum Theater show sporting an AB shirt repping Tremonti. Haven't had a response back, but it's whatever.

At the City National Grove of Anaheim for Winery Dogs. Cheap ticket, cheap parking. Venue is next to Angels Stadium. Should be a fun time. Sporting my AB shirt as usual.

I had a great time and a great view. They played for around 95 minutes starting at 10:00 PM and these guys were three incredible showmen that's well versed at their respective instruments. Sadly, the venue held around 1,700 people or so and I think at least 500 people showed up and saying that 1,000 people showed up may be pushing it. The crowd was solid though. I bought the ticket on Groupon for $14.00 and it was up there for the last few weeks and about 40 people bought the voucher, so if people wanted to see Winery Dogs in Anaheim, the window was really open.

Even though I had a lot of space around me in the GA area, this band deserved to play in front of a packed house and that wasn't the case on that night sadly, but I rate this show as my 3rd favorite concert of this year behind Within Temptation and Switchfoot.

Like $50-$60. And this was after the governor raised it from $30-ish last year to much anguish lol

Just paid $123.57 in Colorado for my 16 year old 4-Runner. The newer the car, the higher the taxes here, and you can see how old mine is.

At first I thought you were saying the car was your 16 year old’s 4-Runner...

Always been like that! Only noticeable when the screen brightness is high, though.

There has been one post by a mod this year, and it was in the other bands section. I say we be done with it and make Kevin the benevolent modmin.
For all of the hope that it brings...

I appreciate the sentiment, but it's not like anyone here is really out of line or anything, aside from some weird spam threads that occurs very rarely. I also appreciate the fact that you think that me being mod wouldn't cause me to go drunk with power.
