TSO's Beethoven's Last Night album.

Apparently, it is the first TSO album to not have anything Christmas-related, so I guess I wouldn't expect to hear anything from it at the concert then. Still, music is music, let's give it a listen.

Edit: Hours later, I got enough time for one more TSO album for today.

TSO's The Lost Christmas Eve album. The last album of their Christmas trilogy.

Edit: One day later on Saturday. MORE TSO baby!!!!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Night Castle. This album is two hours long...... No point wasting time not listening to it.

Edit: Going into Sunday now. The final album of TSO.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Letters from the Labyrinth album. This album has a guest appearance from Lzzy Hale in the song, Forget About the Blame (the Moon Version). That's a good song and Lzzy, as usual, knocks it out of the park with her vocal delivery.

Light The Torch - Calm Before The Storm

This is Howard from Killswitch Engage’s band after his left KSE. I hadn’t really checked these guys out but heard a single on Octane recently. Their most recent album sounds pretty good from what I’ve listened to off of it.

Nothing More's The Stories We Tell Ourselves album.

You know, for whatever reasons, I never got to listen to this album in full. That stated, I've been hearing a couple of tracks from them on Octane and I like it and I hear good things about the album, so let's give this a listen.

It’s a great album; very diverse. Personal favorites are Fadein/Fadeout, Tunnels, and Who We Are.

Yeah, I agree. Solid album. I sorta wished that I did not pass on those summer deals where tickets in the 300 sections were like $25 for the Bad Wolves/Nothing More/FFDP/Breaking Benjamin amphitheater tour last summer.

Poets of the Fall - Fool's Paradise

Just another beautiful sounding song from these guys. The new album is "ok". I didn't enjoy it as much as Clearview though.

I'm obsessed with the whole midsection of the song from 3:14 to 5:51 :headbang :cloud9

Lovebites' CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY album (yes, the title and the song tracks is all in caps according to Spotify). The 31st album released in 2018 that I have listened to.

So I stumbled upon listening to this band while reading a thread in another forum talking about J Pop and J Rock and someone mentioned this album by this band. It's an all-female Japanese heavy metal band (and unlike Babymetal, they play their instruments instead of just sing with a backing band). I don't know if this is the accurate way of describing their sound, but they sound like Dragonforce except the vocalist is a women. All the lyrics are all in English (not the Engrish kind as well). Oddly enough, the band name came from Halestorm's Love Bites (So Do I).

It's all right, nothing ground-breaking, but they hit their marks for that style of music well.

Adam Young - Wheels Down

It's a pretty darn heavy day for me that's quite emotionally tolling. This song has helped me put things in perspective and it's only an instrumental to a score album. The arrangements to this is pretty good from the piano only parts to the guitar and orchestral elements come in at the right moments.

Heard another song by this band and decided I need to get into them more because I love the instrumentals.

It's been a couple of weeks late, but I'm finally getting to it now.

Flyleaf's self-titled album.

It was a good listen. 15 songs in one album did seem like on the high end of things (even though it was a 48 minute album). I liked the overall vibe for the most part of the album, and I can see why people would enjoy this more than the self-titled. I would like to relisten to it again just to see which songs would stand out further on the second listen, but overall, this is a good album. I would also say that Flyleaf were able to deliver a lot in their relatively shorter songs than many of their contemporaries around that time so that's another plus.
