Oh shit, so if the ATP preview is up on iTunes it'll be the video soon?

From the preview, i barely noticed the orchestra. The guitars are very clear.
Maybe it's the song itself. It's more heavier.
I hope they don't make the orquestra subtle.

I think judging from the preview, the orchestra is placed ok. I can hear them clear enough and they are distinct enough, but I wouldn't want them to be too bombastic that it overpowers the band's sound (although an orchestra overpowering the band would be a tough thing to do anyway given the band's sound "issues"). That stated, it is a heavy song so that could affect the perception of the sound of the orchestra. I'm sure they will be more clearer over the more relatively lighter songs like In Loving Memory, Wonderful Life/Watch Over You, Blackbird, etc. It could be concerning though for a song like Fortress and Cry of Achilles.Silvercreed wrote:From the preview, i barely noticed the orchestra. It's also because of the quality of the preview. I think when you listen to the full version in the best audio quality possible, the orchestra shines through a little bit better.

I hope so. Of course i'm not expecting good quality sound in a preview.
For example, if the sound is with the same quality of Within Temptation dvd (black symphony one) it's so fine with me.
I'm anxious to hear this concert (and see) in my small surround

I can barely hear the orchestra.

Oh boy here we go again.
Does Mark even listen to his rhythm guitar tone (or playing)? Or anyone?! Like usual the right ear (where Marks guitar is mixed) is a total sloppy mess. Totally unlistenable. On the other end, Myles' guitar sounds perfectly fine. Can't blame 'm for making Myles' guitar overpowering in the mix.
Orchestra sounds great though. I am looking forward to see the video with it and listening to the slower/atmospheric songs. I'll wait for the downloadable video pre-order to come up somewhere.

I can't see it yet

Mark's sound is still far better than on the O2 Arena Livealbum.fix wrote:Oh boy here we go again.

But, yea, the orchestra is a little too quiet for my taste.

It's back up! And it looks and sounds goood! I can't wait to hear some of the lesser heavy stuff with that orchestra.
Re: Alter Bridge - Live At The Royal Albert Hall
Could be the distraction of the video, but the sound quality on YT sounds better to me than Spotify. Also, am I the only one that has a very low volume on Spotify?
I see some complaining about not hearing the orchestra well enough, but that's not a problem for me to be honest. My only problem is Marks guitar sound.

We don't hear enough of the orchestra, and to be honest, I'm not sure it adds much to the song.
A slower song or an epic one would have made a better first impression IMHO.
