The lyrics for Traipse look really good! Is it June yet? Can't wait for Bringer Of War. Who needs B or C tunings to be brutal? E standard ftw!

APPROX. 9 DAYS UNTIL "BRINGER OF WAR" :eek

Now all we need is a confirmed release date for the novel so I can start to count down to that too :lol

Is anyone else really excited for the novel? :/ I've already started to get excited at the thought of how many pages and chapters it will have :lol I hope it has a decent amount, I dont know what to expect though since it's Marks first time writing a novel and the fact there's two authors :/ I'm hoping anywhere from 300-500 pages at least :lol
I'm really fired up for the novel, in part because it's something so new from Mark that I'm really interested to see what he creates - sort of in the same vein how I was really excited to see what Myles would do with his solo stuff. I like that sense of unknown. Plus I'm spending most of my free time reading these days already, so it'll fit right in.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this whole narrative plays out on the album. Adding the musical component really adds another dimension to the story. The problem for me is I want to experience the story in its proper order. I wouldn't pick up a novel and immediately start on a middle chapter, so I've only listened to each song once to get a flavor of it but still to avoid really listening to the music or lyrics closely. I figure the lyrics and the tone of each song are such integral parts of the narrative, and I'm waiting - even though it's killing me - to live this story from page 1.
Another photobucket casualty... :(

Did we get a release date for the book? It'd be interesting to read and listen back and forth but my preference would probably be to read it all first.

Not yet. Im not even sure if the book is finished yet so I doubt they'd have a release date in mind for it already. Last I asked Mark he said it was "coming along" and that it would be about 300 pages so I guess it depends on how many pages of it they have finished by now.

I don’t foresee the book coming out when the album does. I’d imagine it will take a while to finish and do all of the edits necessary before publication.

At least he didn’t hire GRRM to do it...

Wouldn't Mark go over the moon if he was able hired that dude to write this novel? Probably the budget he has for this is too low for that guy? :shrug

Oh no doubt. We just wouldn’t see the book for another 5-10 years lol.

"I get it, Mark, but this vaguely related novella that takes place 300 years before your story is really important as well!"

Who knows :/ :lol They haven't even officially announced at all yet this week that Bringer of War would become available so if they haven't done that before Friday then I assume it's gonna be a Monday release. :/ :shrug :headscratch

Wouldn’t be surprised if it gets postponed a week or two, haven’t seen any of the band members or the record label hyping up the song like they typically do before it drops.

Fixed :D :lol

Oh well whatever they decide to do is understandable. With 15 days left until the LP it won't be long before the great TABN reviews are out and I'll have those to tide me over until June :peace
