From Erock on Instagram:
Recording some last minute lead stuff & then we’re officially done recording “A Dying Machine” ...just a few mixes left and we’re ready for mastering..best #tremonti record to date in my opinion. #stoked #cantwait #adyingmachine
HYPE!

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine
Will we ever get a hopeful album title from Alter Bridge/Tremonti, I wonder?
They often seem to refer to finality in some respect. If not the album title itself, then the lyrical content of the title track does so.
One Day Remains (running out of time)
The Last Hero (running out of heroes)
All I Was (the past is no more)
Dust ("turned to dust, the ashes you left.")
A Dying Machine (dying, death)
Fortress ("Fortress coming down.")
Blackbird ("Blackbird fly away.")
It's only really ABIII and Cauterize that don't really fit the theme

They're getting really stingy with these whiteboard pics nowadays.

Re: I had to google what stingy meant in this context :lol
The only way they could get anymore un-stingy is if they gave us the song titles too, IMO I dont find them stingy at allAndy92 wrote:They're getting really stingy with these whiteboard pics nowadays.
Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine
They used to go just a little farther to the left so we'd see like the last 2-3 letters of each word. The guessing game following the AB III whiteboard pic was intense lol.SHEAKENBAKEN wrote:The only way they could get anymore un-stingy is if they gave us the song titles too, IMO I dont find them stingy at allAndy92 wrote:They're getting really stingy with these whiteboard pics nowadays.

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine
It's like the whole point of the whiteboard pics, otherwise it's just a bunch of crosses on a whiteboard. Which I could just as easily do on my own whiteboard.

I still relish about finding out about Achilles.

Matching up the working titles to the real song titles when they are released is so much fun. It's like an exercise in forensic psychology.

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine
I had a dream just before I woke up this morning and I thought I was listening to the first bits released of A Dying Machine, and Mark was somehow there in the dream, but I'm not sure what he was doing. When I heard the music I got confused because I was expecting Hard Rock/Metal but instead it was some weird techno-dubstep stuff and I couldn't understand what Mark was saying in the music because he wasnt singing. So I thought maybe I slowed it down and reversed it, it would turn back into the usual music

Don't wanna see it happen... But if ANYONE could somehow write a badass riff over top a dubstep beat it'd be Mark... XD

Re: Tremonti pt #4 - A Dying Machine
I'd literally be more excited about Mark making a dubstep album than I am about this album, because of the absurdity of it
