Re: Magazine - Interview
Intriguing to hear about the theme of the solo album, I really hope he gets this one out!
Thanks Timo!

"Should there be more licking of guitars? Maybe on the next Alter Bridge record I'll start licking mine."
It's stuff like this, plus the playing with Star Wars figures in the woods and the horse manure bits that make Myles so awesome to me. All the same quirky little thoughts and recollections. Just love the guy.

Re: Magazine - Interview
Myles stating why he does not like fame, did not join Led Zeppelin and why he thinks rock stars are a thing of the past.
It doesn't matter what he says in detail in that one, this just keeps solidifying why I love this guy.

Re: Magazine - Interview
Myles was a wallflower, huh? Interesting. Especially because he at some point chose the path of being a frontman.
Re: Magazine - Interview
I'll have to look at those comments, because I thought it was a fair enough review. I guess some people probably had to the time of their lives at the RAH, so it would have been difficult to read reviews which had some negative elements.
Whilst I thought Before Tomorrow Comes was improved with an orchestra, it's always been one of my least favourite songs to hear live. I'm not a big fan of The Last Hero as an album (although the title track my favourite AB song), and I find This Side of Fate to just be far too messy of a song to digest.

Re: Magazine - Interview
Big thanks to you for that!
I love this interview... It gives a lot of insight into what's happening behind the scenes. And the crew day sheet is somewhat depressing, isn't it? It seems as if the guys barely knew what day it was... They're in the center of a storm while on tour, just packing, unpacking, rehearsing, checking-in, checking-out, doing meets'n'greets... Without that sheet they wouldn't know in what country they currently are

Re: Magazine - Interview
Awesome stuff, Torsten.
Myles must've had a lot to chat about with Simon Dobson, trumpeters with jazz influences!

For all of the hope that it brings...
Re: Magazine - Interview
Of course the one time I make it into a crowd photo in a magazine I'm not even looking at Myles.
