Time to publish some real headlining tourdates now ! Bring on the European dates ! They will sell out in no-time. Over here we can't wait to see them again. After the Milan disappointment they also can make a nice live cd/dvd now with lots of new songs from Fortress and AB5. I heard the atmosphere in Milan was great at the time of the Fortress gig, so what about giving Milan a second chance and make a nice large Non dc3 !) boxset of the show ?

I don't think people read this header, Timotheus

I can totally see why. Even without having read the lyrics.

Yeah, I'm a little amazed that the southeast has been so ignored. I was really hoping for Atlanta or Charlotte.

AB will be back for the Louder than Life Festival in Kentucky.

They surely got to have some headlining shows around that period at that time the album is coming out right?

Yeah I've heard Mark say a lot of things to fans about touring and stuff and most of the time it doesn't happen... LOL i'll wait until I see the promo.

^^ Yeah, I'm going to be hesitant on that as well for now until it is official. He also mentioned that they were going to have a Europe tour in January of 2015. Didn't happen......

Though November 2016 to Christmas makes sense.

On another note, one more show under the Disturbed/Breaking Benjamin/AB/Saint Astonia line-up. This one will be in Oklahoma City on August 11th.

Got another headlining show. In Portland, Oregon of all places. Saint Astonia will be supporting, it seems.

From their twitter.
New Tour Date! Alter Bridge HEADLINE gig! 8/23 Portland, OR at Roseland Theater! Tickets go on sale Friday!
http://cascadetickets.com/event/?performer_id=6934284

There's only one day in that schedule where they could do an LA show, but that would mean that they would go three days in a row of shows and I don't know if they would do that, here's to still hoping,

Hopefully you get your show, Kev. Can't wait to see them again. Sadly I had to bail on the St. Louis show w/Disturbed.

Here are the stage times for the Chicago Open Air Festival. Since I do not think that bands at the second stage plays at the same time as bands of the first stage, meaning no clashes, AB will probably get 40-45 min. On the one hand, that seems to be the norm regarding them and US festivals. On the other hand, this is Chicago and one of the bigger areas for AB, so I don't know.

Saturday, July 16

Main Stage
9:50PM – Disturbed
8:20PM – Korn
7:05PM – Breaking Benjamin
5:45PM – Alter Bridge
4:25PM – Pop Evil
3:10PM – Helmet
1:55PM – Nothing More
12:45PM – Saint Asonia

Second Stage
6:30PM – Gojira
5:10PM – Deafheaven
3:50PM – Carcass
2:35PM – Miss May I
1:20PM – Beartooth
12:15PM – Silver Snakes
11:25AM – City of the Weak

Looking doubtful that we get a new song in the set. I wouldn't want second rate cell phone vids on youtube promoting my new tune.

^^ On the one hand, you make a solid point Drew. On the other hand, playing the new single during this summer tour is a decent promotion to get people (that may have never heard or never seen AB before) to get enthusiastic about the new album and maybe they may purchase it, on the backs of hearing that new single being played live. It's a double-edged sword in that sense.

They might not play at it their first few shows, but if they don't release a single and play it during their US run it'll be a waste of a promotion opportunity.

Good point. They are going to be playing in front of a lot of people this tour. Perhaps playing the single could be more beneficial than not... Maybe I'll ask them next week if they'll play it
