I hear news that there is a fire in Rancho Cucamonga area. I see smoke in the skies. I don't know if this is a good sign or not.

If it's white the fire is out and you don't have to worry.

Or there's a new pope, and you still don't have to worry.

I'm going to go with no, it's not a good sign. When have you ever seen smoke from a big fire that was a good thing?

Is it true that Myles actually knows how to play Trumpet, Keyboards, Bass, Violin and Piano on top of Guitar? I always thought it was just the latter, but Wikipedia says otherwise (I know anyone can edit it, too, though so that's why i'm second-guessing)

He did say in an interview somewhere that he came up with a part of the keyboard, can't remember which one though.

But probably not the other ones (except for guitar obvs). Also, one thing I think I just found out is apparently according to this: http://www.themayfieldfour.net/article-dougclark.html

Myles does not in fact play any of the solos in The Mayfield Four? I really hope that's not the case....

Trumpet he mentions often in interviews, started playing that before guitar. Bass wouldn't be a huge stretch for him, would it, though that could have been someone confused by his original last name (Bass, not sure which way it was pronounced) before he took his stepfather's name. Keyboards and piano would be nearly the same, and it wouldn't suprise me if Myles knows a little (maybe he learned when he went to college for music?) but I couldn't find any interviews on those either.

Edit to add - guessed right on the piano (I think that's common in music programs):
Ultimate Guitar interview:
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/intervie ... _mine.html
"Then I went through a period for about five or six years when I started going to school and studied guitar and arranging. That's when I really started to get into jazz and fusion. Cosmic Dust were essentially my teachers. I had a piano class and my teacher invited me to play in his fusion band, which was Cosmic Dust. It was a really great experience and trial by fire for me because at the time these guys were twice my age and very experienced. I was just trying to keep up with 'em. So that's essentially what Cosmic Dust was."

another confirmation of trumpet and interesting about his Led Zeppelin high vocals experience :)
