AB23, not to get your hopes up, but AB usually play for an hour and forty or so when headlining. If you just take the time lengths of the songs they played (all too fast) on the AB III tour, it's well over 90 minutes.

^ is expecting a band to play new songs a high expectation now?
Anyway here is a little video from last night

Flip losing one of his sticks and Myles' mic not kicking in at the same time. Off to a great start they recovered nicely though!

Never seen Myles play that guitar! Sounding pretty good.
And yes Timo, for AB, unfortunately it is.

Well, since it's a festival, bands would more often play majority of the setlist time on the album they feel is their best album as oppose to their recent album (despite that it could be a better album than their suppose best album).
I mean you look at the songs. It's not a bad setlist. Three Fortress songs which is more than I give them credit for compared to some of their Soundwave Shows and it is the songs that are played consistently throughout this whole run. I mean sure it would have been nice to see one of the Blackbird songs get replaced by a Fortress song or even Find the Real or ODR, but oh well.
It would be pretty nice though if some of these HOBs headlining shows would have 6-7 Fortress songs and maybe a throwback to commemorate 10 years since ODR. If they do something like that, it would make the tour feel like a good one despite the potential fewer amount of shows compared to ABIII.
In before a snarky comment, on how they can't get creative with their setlist (though evidence be damning).

From Cristina Scabbia:
Years ago I had the honour and privilege to record a song with a great band called Alter Bridge. I had the chance to sing with one of my favorite singers ever, Mr. Myles Kennedy. What a delight to find out that behind the charisma and the talent there's a genuine personality and a kind heart in him. The music business is so much better with people like Myles in it. Long live Alter Bridge!
