I enjoy listening to those longer conversations. The HardDrive one from a page or two back was good but I'd like to hear more about the album in a long-form interview like that.
Pretty sad when you think about it. Eddie has been on a tear for weeks griping about a band that had to cancel their festival performance because their laptops were stolen and was talking about how people should support groups that really play live. AB is a phenomenal live band, and some of the best pure musicians out there. You'd think he'd be actively trying to get them on there, despite them not quite fitting his mostly classic rock demographic.

I know Slash and Myles did Howard Stern in the media run up to the release of "4", so I'd like to think they know Myles well enough around there to know they'd come back with AB if asked.

I see the guys are doing another listening party type event for primordial radio on release day!

Playing the full album and doing a track by track chat after each, hopefully they stream it somewhere! Not sure if they are a big station or not!

Slash could release an album of fart sounds and Stern/Kimmel etc would book him.

:D

Good interview. Really intrigued to hear “Fable…” now.

As far as the tour goes, can’t wait to hear the title track live; and it was interesting to hear Myles’ thoughts about translating a song like that into a live setting. Hopefully that makes the set every night

Ok actually I love what he said about Fable. It’s something I’ve literally had to explain to parents and friends over the course of my life, basically telling them I don’t need to make the same mistakes as my friends and my family to learn the lessons that come with it.

To me, it’s one of the differences between knowledge and wisdom.

So...do I put all my hours to study for my first Calculus III exam tomorrow night? Or do I stay up until 11:00 to listen to This Is War the minute it comes out?

Calculus III? Do all American monarchs have such odd names?

How This is War wasn’t the lead single, I’ll never know. Top 5 AB songs for sure. Wow! So hyped for the rest of the album.

I've only just heard the iTunes preview for This Is War, but I definitely feel like I will like this one better than Silver Tongue. Great melodies and vocals from Myles and the I love how heavy this record is turning out to be. Time to wait for the full song tonight :peace

For real. This blows Silver Tongue out of the water.

This song is an absolute banger. I think it's my favorite single from the album. The choir and the tapping in the intro and outro make it feel like an epic. Sick solo, catchy chorus. Can't wait to listen to it with better audio quality tomorrow.

Can't wait for Brian, Flip and Mark to do those choir-y chants live :D

The water must be pond water :D

Sorry to be a miserly old sod but I feel a bit underwhelmed again. Hoping there’s shades of the Alter Bridge I like on the remainder of the album. Glad others are happy though :)
