I bought ExpressVPN for a month, and switched to New Zealand to listen on YouTube.

Blimey, that’s an exhausting song to listen to. Don’t think I’ll be giving it a second listen for a few days. Looking forward to hearing the Tremonti sung “uplifting track” though :)

Finally managed to listen to the single. My God it’s good. Really reeeeaally liking this. Straight out Banger of a song. Already better than any song on Walk The Sky in my opinion.
If I had to compare it to another AB song, I’d say it’s the brother of The Last Hero (the song)

Damn. Sounds like I'll just have to wait. I don't want to buy a VPN for this haha.

Look up something called Tunnel Bear. I’ve never had to pay to use their app (only use it once in a blue moon though, lol).

A free version of TunnelBear works fine for me (edit: woops, Dan was ahead of me :D )

First of all, massive respect to AB and the team for releasing this song first. I really hope it pays off and gets the online attention it deserves. Not sure how it'll do on the radio, but I'm not sure that's what they're aiming for with this song.

For the song itself, I'm really loving it! It's not the epic I expected it to be, but it's incredibly fun. They're so many little playful moments in there musically. Also some production "tricks" that I think are quite nicely done. It needs a bunch more listens, but this is easily the best lead single since Fortress and since the "epic"/bold nature of the song maybe even one of their best lead singles ever.

Paid $13 for it. But totally worth it. I couldn’t wait. On repeat currently. Brings me back to Blackbird level of excitement. 10/10.

Seems to be a pretty "safe" single to release. Has all of your typical AB signatures in it. Feels more like Myles Solo stuff with some added umph. The bridge is absolutely killer. Chorus is pretty slow compared to the pacing of the verses and guitar riffs. it's 2022 AB and there isn't a single thing wrong with that! Myles voice sounds great in his lower register. I hope the rest of the album stays there and we don't get a "The Last Hero" version of Myles staying primarily in his upper register. His lower register has always been "the sound" for me when it comes to Alter Bridge... of course sprinkling in the amazing upper register when needed.

Great start to some great hype. Can't wait to order all the things tomorrow for the official release. Vinyl especially!

Also. For those who love to complain about production. This feels and sounds pretty good to me.. so far.

Not the biggest Elvis fan. But I agree, the production is clear and powerful. They killed this.

Holy crap this is a masterpiece.

This song is HEAVY

- has a great epic vibe which has the best parts of walk the sky and the heaviness of tremonti

- production is definitely better than the last 2 albums

- the post chorus riffs are juicy

- that chorus is huge

- cool solo with a similar vibe to dying light wish it was a bit longer but can’t have everything

- perfect change of pace with the vocal bridge

- I absolutely love the smashing drums in the outro

- the guitar on the right and then the left mmmm

- Myles sounds better than ever

I like the look of the Pawn Crown shirt. We'll see what AB has in their own store.

If the single artwork doesn’t end up on a shirt then I’m rioting.

The start of the last chorus, with Myles mellow vocals over the palm-muted guitars is a thing of beauty. I really like the chorus.
