Track 01 - Slip To The Void

One Day Remains, by a mile.

Ahh shit. This is a tough one. ODR has some of my favorite lyrics ever, but I also LOVE Isolation. And it has done more for the band than probably any of their other songs....Okay, I'll have to go with ODR.

Went with Isolation. I think I went with ODR last time, though. I've been listening to a lot of ABIII lately, though... My favorites are constantly changing. Except Words. That'll always be my number 1.

Went with Come To Life, 'cause I went with ODR the last time.

-One day Remains: Brilliant song.. 'How it feels to be alive!' is one of my favourite AB moments ever.. I think the song is a bit of a mess live, but the studio version is some of AB's best work yet..
-Come to Life is also an amazing song as well.. The "Now wicked tongues can speak and rewrite history..." part is also one of my favourite AB moments ever.. I love this song live + I think it was an amazing opener in the Blackbird tour. Great memories!
-Isolation: It was the first #1 for AB, and that's not just because the song came out at the right time, but because the song is just really, really (really) good. It's heavy and I think the solo totally rocks with the odd time signature underneath it.

Hard decision, I'm not going to vote yet.. My votes tends more to Isolation atm, but Come to Life is such a classic AB tune.. And ODR = ODR..

I don't really like any of these songs. ODR is probably my least favourite on that album. Come To Life is perhaps the worst AB song ever, and Isolation is just meh. I'll go with ODR.

My problem isn't with the production. The song is just piss poor. That I want to write the next album would've been a better argument.

Stop bitching. He just said he doesn't like the song. Everyone has an opinion. And I hate the logic when people say "Oh you don't like it?? I suppose you could do better?" That's like you disapproving of a president, and me saying "You think you could run the country better??" Or you complaining that your french fries are stale, and me saying "Oh so you think you'd make a better fry cook?????" Stop being silly.

Isolation. I'm a fan of both ODR and CTL but Isolation is the better song imo. I agree that FTR should have beaten Schlip but both are excellent songs.

These are all such good songs but I went with CTL because of the euphoric rush it gave me the first time I heard it. I have never been more excited about AB than at that moment.
