I always thought 'wdttw' would've been a great title.. They could've called the song 'Truth Alone' or 'Into the Light' or just make it the title track..

Don't think there's really a lyric that I can think of or a track name that's really snappy enough and sums up the album. Fallout would've been immense, but I heard that's already been done by someone.

I remember it was said in an interview that Into The Light could have been the title for Words Darker Than Their Wings. WDTTW was just a phrase they thought was cool and wanted to be the title of something - they chose that song, but it could very easily have been the album. It's a little bit overblown for an album title imo.

Other than Words Darker Than Their Wings, I always thought Slip To The Void or maybe Show Me A Sign had potential for being title tracks for the album.
