1. Words Darker Than Their Wings (incredible song – the intro alone gives me chills)
2. Breathe Again (everyone hates it – I love it)
3. Life Must Go On (this intro should have been kept for a Creed song !)
4. Ghost of Days Gone By (nice song, but I hate the dark bridge)
5. Show Me A Sign (not the best epic song by Mark Tremonti)
6. Still Remains
7. Wonderful Life (I wish it had been an acoustic version)
8. Never Born To Follow
9. Coeur d'Alene
10. All Hope Is Gone
11. Isolation
12. I Know It Hurts

The middle sections of all albums are fairly close together, to the point I might rank them considerably differently at another time. Decided to put little breaks in it to show the tiers of songs that are close together - within some of those blocks the order of songs is almost interchangeable.

This inspires me to set up a "Battle Of The Track Numbers" again..

perhaps instead of using the track number to create matchups.. use first letter of the songtitle?!
or create a bracket system with double elimination.. like is used in some sports like CWS and WBC (college world series and world baseball classic)

example:

1 v 2 ----- 1 wins 
3 v 4 ----- 4 wins
(winners face eachother, losers face eachother)
1 v 4 ----- 1 wins (1 advances to next round)
2 v 3 ----- 2 wins (3 is eliminated, lost twice)
(winner of loser game faces loser of winners game)
2 v 4 ----- 2 wins (4 is eliminated, lost twice) (4 advances to next round)

of course it is possible for the same songs to face up again.. in that case the prior outcome can be used?!

or you could do the number of letters in a title.. like "home" and "zero" would be lined up against one another..

That just means we both have awesome taste

I've actually always preferred Alter Bridge's heavier songs, and I'm actually one of the few (on this board anyway) that prefers Elvis's production overall.

Honestly though, I probably should have tiered my lists much like you did for yours, a lot of the songs could fluctuate from day to day for me. I tried to go with my first instinct though and not think about it too much.
