Sorry to point this out, but you may need to edit your template to state Walk the Sky instead. I went with One Day Remains. Otherwise, this is essentially the battle of the heavier Active Rock lead singles.

Ah, dangit. Copied it from the wrong thread. Thanks for pointing that out!

I voted for Isolation last time, gonna go for Come To Life this time, even though it's really close. Second AB song after Metalingus I've fallen in love with.

This is another difficult one, as it could vary between all of them except for Writing on the Wall depending on my mood. Went with One Day Remains though, it's always been one of my favorites from their debut and is highly underrated.

Went with One Day Remains, but Isolation, Addicted and Come To Life are all fantastic as well.

Tough one for me – really a toss-up between ODR and CTL. ODR has that groundbreaking riff and a classic chorus. But I went with CTL because even the early live versions blew me away; I must have listened to that Pinkpop recording a thousand times. And when the studio version finally surfaced, the chorus literally knocked me backwards onto my bed with euphoria.

Isolation is a fairly close third. The way the verse resolves into the chorus is perfection.

The rest are mediocre AB for me. I'd probably put "Writing on the Wall" last.

Addicted to Pain and Isolation are the best of the 2nd tracks. Gonna vote for Addicted To Pain since I listen to it more.

Isolation was the first song of theirs I heard.

Its Isolation.

I went with Isolation. Come to Life is a close second. I was never huge on the ODR title track.

This one's much simpler.

Come to Life. Should have been the lead single from Blackbird

You won't let it go will ya. :lol

Anyway, I like all of these songs quite a bit. I'd say ATP is just a cockhair above the rest, but here I'd rank them:

Addicted to Pain
Isolation
One Day Remains
Writing on the Wall
Wouldn't You Rather
Come to Life

And I consider Come to Life to be a very, very good song. These are all upper-echelon for me.

2. One Day Remains
3. Isolation
4. Wouldn't You Rather
5. Addicted To Pain
6. The Writing On The Wall ( This is the only one I don't care at all)

Yeah man...I can relate to Come To Life because of that too. I remember being upset because of the lyric part:
"I am not your new messiah
And I will not take you higher".
But I loved that song since the beginning.

Upset by the lyrics themselves, or because they didn't make it onto the album? I loved those lines but I understand why and am glad they didn't include them in the final version.
