I hope this song goes into the setlist soon and never leaves. It has everything you could ever want out of a single AB song.

I realize this is an early proclamation but I am convinced it will go down as one of their definitive songs.

I'd put it in the top tier but there's other stuff above it on each of their last few albums for me.

Agree about live though, it's going to be enormous.

Hearing it live can also affect how much I like the song too. I though Crows on a Wire was an ok song, but grew to love it watching them play it live.

I would give it a little longer to digest before totally proclaiming that. Besides that, it would have to be a better track than Cry of Achilles before making that distinction.

I like Achilles. But it's never grabbed me the way Forever Falling already has.

I think it's just a good song, I think it decays a lot from 2:40 to 3:40, I would love if that was produced differently, because all the rest it's perfect to me

I'm saddened you can barely even hear Mark's vocals on them.

It’s only the second or third best on the new album, so no. It is a great song though, MILES better than Waters Rising

great song, but for me, no. I probably like at least a half dozen other songs since blackbird more.

Well I dunno about being up with BB but Holy Shit does Mark go full thrash after the opening acoustic and coming out of chorus.

There are so many things going on in this song that shouldn't work together but they DO! I'd really like to know more about the writing process on this one.

Definitely, definitely not. It's a good song, but it's nowhere near a lot of the songs they've put out since Blackbird. Even disregarding some of the tracks I love but that seem to be quite low on most others' lists (like Show Me A Sign), there's songs like Words Darker Than Their Wings or Cry of Achilles that are on a whole other level, plus basically half of ABIII and Fortress in my eyes.

If anything on this album can possibly approach the classic status, my money's on the title track. I like Forever Falling a lot, don't get me wrong, but I'd put at LEAST 20 songs in their catalog above it.

yeah im not seeing whats so great about the song; its okay i guess, might need more time to digest it
