Didn't know where to post this...mods move if necessary. I designed a custom T-Shirt with both logos on it and ordered two sizes. Same design Front and Back. I'm selling the XL because the 2XL gave me more room. Wore my 2XL to the Birmingham concert last night. Myles stared at it 6 or 7 times. Brand new with tags. Selling it for what I paid for it. $35 shipped to the U.S. PM me for more details.

Re: Alter Bridge / Tremonti T-Shirt
Is it legal to sell shirts with band logos on it without their permission?

Not sure. There are several on ebay with slight alterations to originals.Mr. Slash wrote:Is it legal to sell shirts with band logos on it without their permission?

Haha, the start post was deleted, now it looks like I'm trying to sell semi-legal AB merch to you.

No, I edited it for spelling, and because I'm making a "Brand New Start", it has to be approved again.Mr. Slash wrote:Haha, the start post was deleted, now it looks like I'm trying to sell semi-legal AB merch to you.

I'm pretty sure it's not legal, but that's not going to stop people from selling them. Numerous times after shows I've seen at the Wiltern Theater this year, there was a lot of people trying to sell bootleg shirts outside. On another note, I'm sadden that I have still yet to eat a hot dog from one of those street carts outside the venue. I hear really good things about them, but I got to maintain my spending budget which is already blown on parking and lunch.Mr. Slash wrote:Is it legal to sell shirts with band logos on it without their permission?

The very short answer: no.Mr. Slash wrote:Is it legal to sell shirts with band logos on it without their permission?
Re: Alter Bridge / Tremonti T-Shirt
I feel like it’s okay this time because he is trying to sell it for what he paid (aka, no profit). He made a custom shirt and got the wrong size. Now he is offering it to someone else for the same they’d pay if they made it. The site that the shirt was made on should be the one to carry the burden of selling a shirt with the bands logo without their permission.
At least that’s why I approved the post.

Photobucket cash grab.
But he'll get lost on the way so you'll be ok

Re: Alter Bridge / Tremonti T-Shirt
I thought it might be okay if it was commentary or transformative in some way. But the shirt he's selling doesn't seem to be that at all. It's literally just the logos of the band. If it said "Alter Bridge" and the logo but then added something like "Is great!" it might slide by. At least that's how I think of it.scarecrow wrote:The very short answer: no.Mr. Slash wrote:Is it legal to sell shirts with band logos on it without their permission?
Re: Alter Bridge / Tremonti T-Shirt
On the topic, how much would I pay for an official shirt from Napalm or Fret12 that did a mashup of the AB/Tremonti/MK YOTT art??
The answer: a whole f***ing lot of $$!
Someone needs to sig that out right now and get it rolling.
