Walking on the Sky
Forever Falling
Dying Light
Godspeed
Native Son

I'm boring and seem to agree with the forum. Native Son is very narrowly beating out Pay No Mind, Indoctrination, Clear Horizon and Take the Crown.
For all of the hope that it brings...

The title-track wins by a mile, probably my favorite song of theirs since Cry of Achilles and Calm the Fire

Same and it incorporates the newness of the album without feeling forced. Myles sultry voice in the versus is perfect

It was tough leaving out Clear Horizon and Walking on the Sky. Those could potentially be swapped with Pay No Mind and Dying Light, but the other 3 are pretty set in stone.

Looking at the responses, I believe some of the prerelease tracks would have more votes if they weren’t prerelease tracks. There’s no way Tear Us Apart should have more votes than Wouldn’t You Rather and In The Deep imo.

Better song imo, also ITD is my skip song of the album for sure

Currently, in album order:

Wouldn't You Rather
Godspeed
Indoctrination
Forever Falling
Tear Us Apart

Honestly, a lot of these songs, if good as advertised, are being clouded by Myles harmonizing with himself everywhere and being drowned out by riffs. A couple of songs is fine, a couple of moments is cool... but like every single chorus? His voice is too good for that. Other songs I want to consider on here all "seem the same" with this mix effect.

I want to fix like five things with Godspeed, and it will be one of my favorite Alter Bridge songs in albums.

Forever Falling is a runaway hit with Dying Light putting up a good fight! My favorites are:

Native Son
Indoctrination
Pay No Mind
Forever Falling
Walking on The Sky

Clear Horizon is growing on me steadily. I think my two least favorites are The Bitter End and Tear Us Apart. Godspeed seems to resonate with a lot of people but I'm still having a hard time getting into the song.

Take The Crown is underrated! Based on these results my nomination for most overrated is Dying Light.

Interesting that Dying Light is the only pre-release that makes the top 5 (as of this post), and it was obviously the last of the 5. Is this a case of the new shiny objects getting preference or is this legit? And if only 1 pre-release is a top 5 on the album, does AB intentionally pre-release their more average songs and save their best for album release day? Seems they'd generate more hype by pre-releasing their very best songs, but marketing strategy, esp in the music industry, is a weird science that I don't understand.

I think part of it is because the prerelease songs are what they think might be better for radio and airplay. This site likes a lot of the deeper cuts. They technically released Native Son early to Octane and it’s a top 5 for me.

But I also had Pay No Mind for what it’s worth.

I actually quite like In The Deep, Take The Crown and Pay No Mind.

But it's tough for it beat the shiny novelty of the other tracks so I'd suspect you guys are right.

Although I never listened to Dying Light before the release and still think it's one of the weaker tracks.

Forever Falling might be top 5 or 10 AB if the vocals weren't so low in the mix. I really like the song but the mix is a fiasco.

I voted: Dying Light, Forever Falling, Clear Horizon, Godspeed, and In the Deep.
Right now I like every track but have been skipping the pre-release singles because I have played them to death before the album came out and need to give other songs their time.
The Bitter End, Wouldn't You Rather, and Pay No Mind are probably bottom of my list. If you took off the ending of Take the Crown, it would probably be lower for me but I'm a sucker for that bluesy outro (why doesn't Myles play that live?!?!?). Clear Horizon could be number one if you took out the first part of the bridge and replace it with a myles solo

Top 5 in order are:

The Bitter End - reminds me of All Ends Well, which is probably my favorite song off Fortress, awesome melody
Take The Crown - Again awesome melody and great solo and love the soft guitar outtro
Indoctrination
Forever Falling
Walking The Sky

I'd say my 3 least favorite right now are Wouldn't You Rather, Godspeed and Dying Light.

Godspeed
Forever Falling
Dying Light
Tear Us Apart
Indoctrination
In The Deep
Walking on the Sky
The Bitter End
Clear Horizon
Take the Crown
One Life/Wouldn’t You Rather
Pay No Mind
Native Son

Godspeed didn't fully click upon initial listen, been listening to it the most of any song on the album since it got stuck in my head and it really is starting to click fully for me now. Great song

Currently on spin number 4 of Walk the Sky. Having some difficulty picking a top 5. It would probably looks something like this:
1. Indoctrination (One of the darker songs on a mostly light and melodic album. I especially love the "I'm the fool's messiah" bridge.)
2. Forever Falling (Mark kills it on vocals, as usual. I would have liked Mark's vocals to be higher in the mix, but maybe that's just me being nitpicky.)
3. Native Son (The riff at 0:27 reels you in and you're hooked.)
4. The Bitter End (This one reminds me a lot of AB III. The verse melodies remind me of "All Hope is Gone" a bit)
5. Pay No Mind (The interplay between the synth and the guitar on this song really make it for me, as well as the overall groove to it. I expect this one to be a staple of their live set for years to come with its chant along chorus.)
