They're really the only two hard rock bands I still follow (if you don't count Tremonti, I'll always listen to his stuff).
That’s awesome!
Same for us for AB. First time seeing them since 2007. Far too long.

This is my first time seeing them since 2011, which I hardly remember because it was a summer festival show with a short set that I missed the beginning of because they played really early. The time before that was 05 and they were opening and I missed all but the last song and Myles was sick so I feel like this is really the first time I've seen them since 04.

Here's a video of Blackbird from the Raleigh show last night. Absolutely love the fact Mark's clean tone is back, I just wish he'd use it for the other songs that require a clean tone (for some reason the Broken Wings intro was volume-lowered overdrive)

[edit: just realised I posted this in the wrong thread, my bad]

I also wish that they would ditch Elvis and go with another producer, just to switch things up and get a fresh perspective. I think it's kind of weird that the same guy has been a producer for so long. Most bands don't work with the same producer over and over again for every album.

Its hard to grow that way.

I live in the deep now and pay no mind are my favorites. To me in the deep sounds like a tune that could be on fortress.

Is this becoming a thing that we are double posting every new promo video? :D

Anyhow, this was great. I simply love these Alter Bridge behind the scenes videos. Hopefully we will see more from Flip and Brian as well.

Mark states like half the songs as his favourite in that Hardline interview.

Sorry, somehow my post wound up in the listening party thread. Don't really know how that happened.

Anyway, this is what I said:

I'd honestly listen to the whole album with the sound of One Life – it's warm, trippy and highly atmospheric. Also Wouldn't You Rather magically sounds better live.

Well, it's a few days after the Listening Party... :pout Isn't this album about due for a good leak before the 18th? Hahaha

Relax, I'm probably kidding... I can wait another month. (No I can't!) :slam

Also, One Life sounds beautiful! An awesome intro for shows and the album. Reminds me of The Mayfield Four with just a dash of Year Of The Tiger vibes. :)

30 minutes long interview with Mark and Myles. Take the Crown is about Myles' tee-ball trauma and Mark spends his spare time singing 70s soft rock.

I've literally seen nobody claim that they thought Take The Crown was political.

It's so Myles though :lol

Huh, I didn't know in that Track by Track video that Myles was actually green screened while touring with Slash and Mark, Flip, and Brian were in Orlando for the filming of the music video. That looked pretty seamless, and I did thought, "How did Myles found the time to finish recording his parts and then did the music video before touring with Slash?"

Perfect comparison. I think this is what many people wanted his solo album to sound like.
