The thought of an instrumental on this album really excites me! So 13 songs plus an instrumental is definitely a solid amount of songs to have (presuming they all make the final cut). Seeing all those clean guitars makes me happy too. I know they’ve had several songs that might have an acoustic layer added but it’s barely noticeable to most people behind all the other main guitars. Now time to impatiently wait till this fall :slam

Hard to figure out exactly what that instrumental will be... Has all the guitars, bass and drums, but no solos (so it's not a full length song) and no 808 prog (so no probably nothing like Found or an effects-laden intro track). Hmmmm...

Have you also seen that on two songs Myles didn't sing harmonies?! And he said a few days ago, that he finished vocals. Curious right??? Maybe not one but TWO Mark on vocal songs?

And Mark’s voice did sound pretty shot at the last Tremonti show.. so hmm.

I personally don't like that idea, he has Tremonti where he can do lead vocals, unless the both sing parts like WDTTW or WR, I love that.

By that logic you could say that Myles has Slash and his own solo project.

I prefer Myles at lead vocals only. Even if there is a song that he sounds really good on (and that is a stellar track), the only thing that will go through my mind is: "Man, now imagine if Myles was able to sing that instead."

This is just my personal opinion. And I like Mark's singing voice a lot.

By logic, Myles is the lead singer of Alter Bridge.

I think that more Tremonti vocals would be awesome. At least on record his low voice always sounds really comfortable.

I agree Myles should be the lead singer if Alter Bridge. I just wanna hear Mark's harmonies more clearly on this album! Maybe one song with Mark doing more of the heavy lifting or a call and response vocal with Myles.

He sure is. But that's never stopped other bands, Alter Bridge included, from having other band members sing the lead in some of their songs on occasion. Why should they purposely limit themselves if they think a song is better suited to Mark's vocals?

Me personally... I would just love the idea that the members of AB would quit their other projects and fully concentrate on AB. BUT with the ideas that would usually fit to Slash and/or Tremonti or Myles' solo stuff. No limits at all, just do what you wanna do. You (Mark, Myles, Brian, Scott) saw that the fans are supportive for each project, so why not combining all the stuff and make it one big (perhaps new in some ways) Alter Bridge!?

I know it's on it's way but it almost doesn't seem real! Just one studio clip or even a working song or album title or something would kick things into high gear!

...I'm also super hyped for AEW All Elite Wrestling on TNT this October AND Rick and Morty Season 4 this November! It's gonna be a great fall/winter.

Maybe Mark wrote some lyrics for this record. It makes sense that he sing those songs.
