Myles slayed that high note in the end.

That note by Myles was great.
BUT (there's always a but), after two songs, I've gotta say I'm underwhelmed by the orchestral arrangements. They don't add much to the songs, and sometimes, the orchestra is barely audible.
I reckon mixing so many instruments must be tough, but Metallica managed to do it on S&M, and the new arrangements really added something valuable to most of the songs (plus, you could really hear the orchestra!).

I know what you mean.

Addicted to Pain had me worried however I feel better after WDTTW (especially when you compare a few of the post-RAH performance, you then notice the absence of the orchestra and what they brought).

From youtube clips The End is Here looks like one song in particular which has benefitted massively from the orchestra.

It could be a bit louder and clearer, but I for the rest I disagree. The orchestra adds so much. The staccato part in the second verse, the horn or trumpet before the last chorus. The entire outro is beautifully arranged.... During the harder parts it's not that obvious, but it still fills so many sonic holes that often make their live performances sound a bit empty.

I agree with what Timo says, but I did wish I could hear it just a tad more sometimes. But I did noticed I could hear the orchestra better with my good headphones, so what you listen on that can help as well.

FINALLY!

I must say this is one of the most beautiful live performances I have ever heard. I am so happy to have been able to hear it played live, even if only through my phone.

I hate the fact that Brian added so many great bass lines and the camera is anywhere but not on him

Epic song, excellent performance. With great, beautiful arrangements. Especially in the bridge and the outro.
Good work from Flip, by the way.

But like ATP, the sound of the orchestra is disappointing. Very subtle, for my taste. With the headphones you hear better, but still subtle.
An orchestra can give so much power. I just don't feel it here. The sound of the orchestra should be louder, powerful.
The guitars are louder than the orchestra, i think.

I know that on Blu-ray the sound will be better, but i honestly doubt it will be very different from this in terms of clarity sound of the orchestra.
Hope i'm wrong.

And there are good examples of great mix like "Hans zimmer live in prague".

Mark's voice is a bit too quiet for my taste btw.

Ghost of Days Gone By and In Loving Memory seemed to benefit the most from videos I’ve seen. Dying to hear the finished product of those songs

That live performance fucking reinvigorates the AB fanboy in me. I've been falling off lately because of how unimpressed I was with the last album and how much I enjoyed MK's solo record, but THAT is a performance. One of their best, most coolest live performances they've ever done.

Buying that set.

This is a rare non-troll post from me here. I liked it.

Don't know the last three songs. Do you mean Ghost Of Days Gone By, Waters Rising and Breathe?

Text is so hard to determine whether or not sarcasm was present here. It clearly seems like it was and I would have assumed as much, that is until I saw the Squidward avatar. So...

I'm sure he was just describing his emotions and feelings toward listening to WDTTW.

Otherwise, pretty clever. Although I would have said Twilight for brilliance (not a smartly written song, but certainly illuminating). Farther Than the Sun would be the exact opposite, heh.

It still surprise me how good Brian is, he can navigate through the bass and do whatever he wants
