It's funny, I rank WTS third to last but I really like the album, so it shows how strong AB's back catalogue is. Likewise with TLH, there are some incredible songs on there, but I just think the album is a little overcooked and not as consistent as their others. But it is by no means a bad album. In fact, it's very good.

My reason for ranking AB III second to last, which some may find odd, is that I think many of the songs tend to blend into each other with a few exceptions. The vibe of the album is quite dark, and I find myself listening to the deep cuts less on this album than their other albums.

What's strange is that in MuffinMcFluffin's spreadsheet, One Day Remains is ranked 5th below Blackbird and above Walk The Sky. That's not right. I'd place it in third behind Fortress and The Last Hero, and I'd put Blackbird above AB III.

A little surprising. AB III and Fortress contain some of my favorite AB songs of all time but also a lot of tracks I'm not into at all. So those really brought the averages down.

Not so surprising: The Last Hero bringing up the rear. A couple tracks I love but the rest, not so much. Every AB album has at least a couple tracks I truly cherish. Can't say that about a lot of artists.

Only four '10s' for me: Blackbird, Watch Over You, Isolation, and Forever Falling.

A bunch got close though. 9 - 9.5ers: Open Your Eyes, Broken Wings, Come To Life, Brand New Start, Slip To The Void, Words Darker Than Their Wings, Bleed It Dry, Lover, All Ends Well, The Other Side, Take The Crown, Pay No Mind, and Pawns & Kings.

Didn't go lower than 2/10. Ignominiously awarded to Breathe Again and You Will Be Remembered.

Blackbird and Fortress are kind of a 1a/1b situation, I think these two are the bands masterpiece albums. After that:

ABIII
Pawns and Kings
One Day Remains
The Last Hero
Walk the Sky

That being said, none of these are bad albums, not even WTS, which I really like. They just have so much incredible work to measure it against.
