Is this for real? Did the audience break out in "Rise Today" after the set was finished?

Open Your Eyes is 1000000000000000000x better as a closing song than Rise Today is, IMO

This is what Mark said in an interview:

"You recorded other live shows in London, will we see any of those songs for future “B-sides”?

MT: I doubt it. We will be filming our two shows in London when we play the Royal Albert Hall in London with the 52 piece Parallax Orchestra. We’re going to try and have that Live DVD out by Christmas."
Apparently Mark got the flux capacitor option in his Charger.

Cry of Achilles on the second night was absolutely perfect. Best version of the song ever, including the studio version.

I got to see ODR in January in KC. It was a great moment. Never thought I'd see it.

By the way if we can change the title of this thread to suggest it's also about the coming weeks' tour that'd be cool.
Gee, I wonder if a thread like that was already created........

Anywho, about that particular set. Holy cripes. The ordering is so messed up. Usually, I have a decent idea of how they would start out the show and how they would end it. The ordering is weird. I like it.

For the person who asked, yep after the band and orchestra took their final bows and we're walking off stage, the Tuesday night crowd serenaded the band with Rise Today. It was a great moment and Myles was visibly touched.

I'm hoping that setlist is a sign that they'll be switching stuff in and out regularly, rather than having decided that mainly ODR and Blackbird stuff should be played henceforth...
For all of the hope that it brings...

That setlist is awesome! I love that they are changing it up, opening with The End is Here and throwing In loving Memory in the encore, cool!

Hope that this continues into the US tour, would be my first time seeing ILM live!

I’ve just watched a couple of videos on YouTube and I know it will be nothing new but I literally burst into tears just by watching those poor quality videos with crappy sound. Actually I am lucky I couldn’t go to London. I’d definitely get a heart attack there. It was so beautiful, I’m absolutely speechless.

I’d really love to be a little fly on the backstage the moment the guys finished. Wonder what their reactions and comments were immediately after the show :)

I was also thinking about the sound issues that a couple of you mentioned, I mean, it’s a concert hall and its acoustics should be perfect in each place so it’s a little surprising that it wasn’t. Wonder what went wrong…

@crumbso looks like you sat behind the amps, pretty logical you heard the orchestra over anything amped...

Yeah I get that but they should be miced up and pushing through the PA to the side. Those were expensive seats and when I say I couldn't hear anything, I mean it.

Not sure whether to blame the Albert Hall or AB's team but that's a poor show man. If you are selling a seat, you should make sure it's at least tolerable in terms of sound.
