They've been playing it in the original tuning for the last couple months, haven't they?
I believe it's been a half step down. With modern scoring technology, I'm sure the orchestrator could bring the entire piece down a half step if he really wanted to. But here's hoping we hear it in the original tuning! :yes

If they play Waters Rising I can see Mark not play the verse on guitar. he only plays it because he doesn't like to see without it. But watch and see him let Myles take on the verses

He doesn't play the verse because it is too tricky to play it and sing at the same time.

*sing* I'm only speculating but I don't think he feels comfortable singing without playing. I think he's stated that a few times too

According to the Royal Albert Hall website. Looks like they will be getting two hours and 15 minutes of playing time, with a 25 minute break, and will have no opening act. If only I can spend like a few thousand dollars to be there.

Approximate schedule:
5:30pm Restaurants and bars open
6:30pm Boxes open
6:45pm Auditorium doors open
7:30pm Alter Bridge
10:10pm ends
There will be one 25 minute interval

So this is the thread that made me want to stop lurking and finally get involved... I was a penniless student when AB toured One Day Remains so didn't see them when they played In Loving Mem live. What do you guys reckon the chances of it being included are? I'm one of these hyper-identifying lovers of that song and I Feel like I'd need emotional prep before hearing it live :lol

I reckon the chances are high. It seems like ILM would lend itself well to an orchestral arrangement.

The setlist teaser on page 4 looks like the 6th song slot could be In Loving Memory. Hard to really make it out though.

Thanks for sharing! FYI I deleted the duplicate post from the other thread.

I'm thinking the second one might be TLH as well? The part where Myles sings, "I just don't know / but need you so"?

Think the tempo's a bit too slow? Hard to tell, does sound like the verse of My Champion as well. Sounds great whatever it is! Really hope they get to belt out some Bach with Wayward One too.

Main thing I'm waiting on though is the melodic bridge in Fortress :cloud9
For all of the hope that it brings...
