Well, might as well get this thread going.

So they are already announced for Rock AM Ring/Rock IM Park in Germany and Hellfest in France. Now they are going to be back in the UK for Download, for the 6th time in the band's history, being main supporting to, sigh......., Aerosmith.



I personally got nothing against Aerosmith, but I would have loved for them to do something different for their UK fans during the summer than play at Download in the same spot they got in 2014.

Mark said in Glasgow yesterday they were playing some more festivals yet to be announced and maybe a possibly U.K. Tour again next fall...depends on myles and slash and his own solo stuff

I dunno. There are some good acts there. And some others near the bottom that aren't scheduled yet.

Yeah, Rock Werchter pretty much wins every year. The best festival I've been to by far (been to Sziget, Exit, Novarock, Rock im Park and Sonisphere in Bulgaria) I've been there last year with Muse, Kasabian, Alt J, Chemical Bros, Florence, Faith no More, Prodigy, Lenny Kravitz, Royal Blood x2, Enter Shikari, EODM... Too bad Foo Fighter cancelled but getting Faith no More in 2 days was amazing. My only complaint is, why do you go to sleep at 2am at a festival? No afterparties in the camp, what the hell is wrong with you

Only Primavera and Hellfest left on our checklist. Next year Hellfest hopefully, got one ticket on official resell. We need to catch only one more in the next 6 months

Download Festival France is confirmed as well last Friday.

Disappointed that Download have overlooked AB for a Headline slot, on either stage, again. I mean, Biffy Clyro!?!? SERIOUSLY?!??!? They were not fit to headline a mainstage during their more popular days, and certainly ain't now. I had to sit through their dull as fuck set during Sonisphere in 2011 and virtually every single member of the crowd was bored to tears! And Aerosmith, AGAIN?!? Just let it go and give someone new a chance ffs There are some great bands in there, but for the most part that looks naff and I think I will be giving it a miss again this year and hitting up Bloodstock and an overseas one.

I'm just really confused on how Evanescence got the headlining spot. They hadn't tour Europe in ages. Heck, I'm even sure in 2016 that AB has a bigger Belgian presence than friken Evanescence.

Yea, they shouldn't even had headlined GMM 10 years ago, back when they were popular.

and guests of Aerosmith on Madrid , on June 29th, therefore they will be playing at the Bracelona Rock Festival on Saturday 30th , or more likely Sunday 1st.
