I'm excited for this tour. All the goodies for the Leipzig gig followed by another concert just 13 days later near my hometown here in Switzerland!

I have been an AB fan since day one, but this is the first time that I find myself having a chance to see them live. I am going to their show on Leipzig on June 24th, and as you can imagine, it's a huge deal for me. I am actually getting goosebumps just writing this!

Any suggestions? I am a PhD student in Göttingen, and I am planning to go there by train.

If you want to get close Id suggest purchasing VIP or getting there early. Most importantly.. enjoy yourself and soak it all in. I remember my first AB concert... you'll never forget it.

Stay after the show and meet them by the bus. It's much less formal and rushed than the VIP (but do that, too) so you have have a quick chat with each of the band. Plan on a late late night - but it will be absolutely worth it!
Another photobucket casualty... :(

That's the best advice you can get.

I would add: don't waste time making videos or taking tonnes of photos. Somebody will upload them to the internet so they will be available anyway. I have a feeling that making a video distances me from the show itself as if I were watching it on the screen and not participating because I focus on what I see on the camera and not on what's happening on the stage. And the final result usually was pathetic anyway because the quality of my photos/videos is a disaster.

I can't second this enough. I used to take tons of photos at shows, and it definitely takes you out of the moment. Nowadays I only take my camera out maybe once or twice. Part of that is probably also because digital cameras/smartphones have gotten so much better these days. I used to take 100 photos in hopes of getting a few good ones. But anyway, nowadays I much prefer to be present and in the moment. Makes a concert much more worthwhile.

Those seem sizable, with the exception of the Ireland shows, actually for non-big Europe cities. 3000+ people.
