So here goes my vote !
Because it's a bland copy of Before Tomorrow Comes.chtimixeur wrote:As much as I love the End is Here, I have a soft spot for Breathe Again, and never understood why this forum hated it so much.

That's the case with almost every band (as every band has a specific style of songwriting), but Breathe Again and BTC are way more similar than your usual AB songs. The only other AB songs that are that similar to each other as well are Still Remains and Last Of Our Kind (and the latter is so much worse as well).chtimixeur wrote:I can hear the connection, but a lot of AB songs do sound similar.
Breathe Again is an uplifting song, I love its vibe, and the note at the end is one of the highlights off AB III. It's been one of my favourites off this albums since day one, and I'll take it over Shlip, Ghosts or Show Me a Sign any day of the week.
Totally agree with that! However, I must admit - I do get Life Must Go On and All Ends Well muddled up. Perhaps its just me?Blackbird wrote:That's the case with almost every band (as every band has a specific style of songwriting), but Breathe Again and BTC are way more similar than your usual AB songs. Breathe Again is not a bad song, but it's kinda ruined by how uninspired it is.
Aaah no, you're absolutely right, that's the third AB example. All Ends Well is a copy of Life Must Go On as well (and once again, I love the first iteration MUCH more).antiwal wrote:Totally agree with that! I can understand this. Never liked All Ends Well much, before I compared it to the TLH ballads and realized how much better it is.AHart96 wrote:All Ends Well
Very unpopular opinion here, but it's easily my favorite of their ballads
I wouldn't say it's either better or worse that You Will Be Remembered or Twilight. They all just fall into the category of "nice" AB songs.Lotha wrote:I can understand this.
