I tweeted Alter Bridge to see if they might add a Colorado date or if I should look into flights. They retweeted to look for flights.

Well, fuck.

I have to travel with the kids twice in Feb and I have no time to go anywhere else. Gutted.

Hmm, a couple within a few hours of me but not sure I can make them with my work schedule. Why do bands tour northern states in the winter?

For real. Never understood why they don't hit South America or southern states Dec thru Feb.

I'm not fearful of winter driving, but I'm not buying advance tickets for a midweek concert several hours away when there could be a snowstorm that keeps a band, me, or both from getting there.

They're a decent opener. I've heard some of their songs before. Pretty heavy, singer sometimes sings too fast for me to understand what he's saying lol.

Kind of excited for that. Their cover of In The Air Tonight is really good.

Man. The the best they could come up with?

That 4 hour drive one way to Raleigh is a little less enticing now :/

Wish they'd have just went out with Adelitas Way again

Got my tickets to the LA show! Does anyone know if they will be using the stage production elements as in the current european tour? Looks badass!

I imagine it'll depend on the size of the stages/venues, so probably most places in the US won't. Here's the stage set up in Poland last night

That backdrop is awesome, but I can't think that would fit in most of the US venues where AB will play.

Poland clearly has more balls than we do in the US. :shifty

I imagine that they can fit something like that at Playstation Theater and The Wiltern and at the major cities' venues (Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, etc.). Everywhere else, who knows.

Holy shit.

All those poles are me at concerts.

Americans are so lazy. Heck no we ain't getting that stage setup....

I prefer just the "alter bridge" name banner anyway. It's cool as shit.

Maybe a "last hero" album cover backdrop. But that's all I'd change. I like the way the AB stage was last US tour. To me it's about the heavy music, not the expensive theatrics.

Keep the ticket prices cheap, leave the big screen in Poland.

My opinion.
