2017 U.S. headline tour...........
Re: 2017 U.S. headline tour...........
They have a few good songs, Ang. I used to LOVE Two Weeks.
Spokane...damn, the west coast kind of got fucked on this tour. May try to do Spokane but it is about 3-4 hours away.

All That Remains has kinda gone downhill for me but their newer sound fits better with AB than their older sound. They still release a decent single every once in a while.

In all honestly, compared to the Fortress tour, The Last Hero tour has at least one more show in the West Coast than Fortress tour.AB4Lyfe wrote:They have a few good songs, Ang. I used to LOVE Two Weeks.

Fortress: Seattle, Spokane, Denver, LA, and San Francisco.
The Last Hero: Seattle, Spokane, Denver, LA, Vegas, Portland (this was before the album was out, but it's still counts honestly) and San Francisco.
I just wanted another SoCal show. San Antonio, Dallas, Raleigh, Kansas City gets another show in their area in the album cycle. Why not SoCal!!!!!

KC because they sold it out back in January. I've never been to an AB show that was so packed.

Got my tickets for Rosemont, IL and Madison, WI. Madison is about 2 1/2 hours, but I did it to see them in Milwaukee as well so no problems.
Re: 2017 U.S. headline tour...........
YESSS !! Finally coming back to Tampa, Jannus Landing i'll be there!
Re: 2017 U.S. headline tour...........
I've never been to a Dallas show that wasn't sold out either. They shot the Ties that Bind video at a Dallas concert.
I will say though, they skipped Dallas on the last US tour. I've still seen them once since TLH came out, but it isn't like they've hit Dallas 3 tours in a row.

Haven't been to a show since I saw them this time last year in Charotte.
It's about time for another show. And it's gonna be Alter Bridge! Heck yeah.
See you southeasterners in Raleigh!

Right. KC twice but LA once? That's hard to understand.anguyen92 wrote:In all honestly, compared to the Fortress tour, The Last Hero tour has at least one more show in the West Coast than Fortress tour.AB4Lyfe wrote:They have a few good songs, Ang. I used to LOVE Two Weeks.

I'm so grateful that Denver finally got a show, but then the ticket vendor's website was totally jacked when the presale started and it caused all sorts of chaos. They're also playing a venue with no GA, so the inability to get a reserved ticket for over 12 hours after they went on sale caused me a lot of heartburn.

Re: 2017 U.S. headline tour...........
A couple of thoughts here.
I find it humorous that All That Remains, a band whose most-viewed video on Youtube has 39 million views, is opening for AB, whose most-viewed video on Youtube only has about 10 million views, which is Broken Wings which is not really their biggest hit ever, rarely gets played live nowadays, and AB is a band that does not have too much radio support for a band of their size. Typically, some people would think that a band like All That Remains, which is it fair to say has some radio support at times?, would be the ones headlining over a band like AB? That just shows how much of a strong word-of-mouth like fanbase support AB has in general with their music.
Another comment. Even though, I'm sadden that the last shows will not be hitting SoCal, I really do like how they bookend the tour. They are starting the tour at the HOB in Buena Vista which is near Orlando (Mark, Flip and Brian's hometown) and ending the tour in Spokane, Myles' hometown. The beginning and the end of the last US tour for this album cycle will be homecoming shows. That sounds pretty cool.
Another funny note, they are starting the tour the day after Thanksgiving as well.

All That Remains is in an odd spot where their "best" songs in their early days didn't really gain that much radio play as far as I know. This Calling may have, been generally you don't hear bands that scream a lot on rock radio. They were pretty big when metalcore was taking off in the mid-2000s. I remember Six was on Guitar Hero 2 and that helped boost their popularity too.
But now their original fans don't care for them so much even though I hear them on the radio more now than I ever did. They probably have a hard time headlining tours because they grew away from the sound that got them 10s of millions of plays on YouTube, and their newer stuff that is radio friendly isn't really good enough to attract a large audience.

Nah, it's good. Prilosec is over the counter. You can just double the OTC dose.AB4Lyfe wrote:Something something ethics...One Drew Remains wrote:Good thing you can prescribe yourself some Prilosec.

The Denver show went on sale to the public this morning almost 5 hours ago, and the presale began 3 days ago.
You can still get a pair of tickets in the 8th row center section right now
Ugh. That's not very overwhelming. Come on, Denver. Get on this.

They still got three months. Gbruin. 1,870 is a good amount of tickets to sell for an AB show in the states, but I think they can have a respectable amount in the overall attendance on the day of in Denver.

Concert change for me. Headed to Tulsa instead of KC. My wife found out the Pioneer Woman from food Network has a mercantile near there. Tulsa is a half hour closer to me, sp it's all good.

They just added St Louis. And its a Friday. Glad I hadn't ordered Tulsa tickets yet. That's just a two and a half hour drive for me.
