Kind of an odd, short tour, but I could probably hit 4 of those northeast dates if I'm ambitious. They're all during the week though, so I'll be lucky to see 2.

I've only heard a couple In Flames songs over the years and I thought they were a metal band but Jim tells me they are more progressive so now I'm intrigued.
Well, they got to do something around the locations that the big US festivals, that they are playing, are at. Anyway, I keep hearing the name In Flames from time to time around the music boards I am at. Are they good? Last I heard of them, they were the opening band to Disturbed and A7X in the UK.

When in the hell were those announced? I must have not been paying attention. I'm for sure going to be getting Milwaukee tickets since it's a short drive from Chicago. Anyone else going to that one?

Playing Pointfest in St. Louis on May 13th. Probably won't go since it's not a headline gig. 2nd from the top isn't bad though.

Officially bought my ticket for the show in Milwaukee. I'm stoked I get to see them at least one more time on this tour.

Apparently, AB will be heading to South Dakota on August 11th at the "Sturgis Buffalo Chip® August Music Festival." I think they are headlining that day as well since it claims they are getting 90 minutes. Festival must be a big deal there as well. Shinedown, Blink 182, The Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. are also playing on separate days. Hope this leads to more shows in August. I know they did not play in Spokane, Washington in the Winter tour so that may be a lock, but I'm really hoping they hit Anaheim.

Also, my goodness, at this description.

Well, Sturgis might be the closest they've gotten to Colorado, so...

I want to go to the May 2nd show in Sayreville, but only with Cam. Last two times AB has played there and even the last time Tremonti was there, Cam and I went and I'd like to keep the tradition that way.

The fate is in his hands....

Can anyone confirm AB closed a festival set with The Last Hero yesterday? That's what setlist.fm says...

I highly doubt this set is right.

Addicted to Pain
Metalingus
Cry of Achilles
Open Your Eyes
Show Me a Leader
The Last Hero

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/alter-bri ... 6744a.html

Only six songs and have Open Your Eyes and The Last Hero, but no Isolation and Blackbird? That is quite surprising for a festival set. I mean the guy that edited it was apparently there. Then again, last week, someone listed The Last Hero was played on the Earthday Birthday set, but it turned out that it was actually Show Me A Leader. Who knows. Welcome to Rockville is a big festival for rock festivals in the US so, hopefully, we get some footage for confirmation.

Edit: Setlist is wrong. There are videos that has Isolation, Ties That Bind and Rise Today played on that particular show.

Went to the concert at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ last night. Was a great show! Crowd was pretty enthusiastic for a weeknight. This was the first standalone show the guys have done as part of this festival-heavy tour so they seemed glad to play in front of their dedicated fan base.

Setlist was pretty standard for this tour but they did play "Island of Fools", which was a nice treat. I'd only seen it once before at the Silver Springs show earlier this year, where I was way in the back with a terrible view, so it was cool to see it from a better vantage point.

Before playing OYE Myles joked about his awkward performance in the music video. Good thing no one brought up "Sick and Wrong" :lol.

I quite liked In Flames as well. Only listened to them a few times before and they're definitely at the more metal end of my tolerable spectrum, but I think I'll be putting them into more regular rotation.

Also ran into Cameron and also got to meet Micky, so that was cool! Hope to see you guys again soon.
