As many of you may have noticed; Alter Bridge appear to have updated their logo ahead of their newest offering, as seen on their website.
We can neither confirm, nor deny that this logo version will be a
final decision, but we would love to know what everyone thinks this change means and what they think of it

I'm not sure about the font regarding the A and the last E. It just looks so plain to me, and their current logo model, which had been used for the UK tour poster, has got that certain flair that makes it very distinguishable.
This looks fine. The one at the web site, just seems too plain for me.

The old logo still exists. Dan did not design the splash page and management forgot to use the correct logo. Hopefully I can get the normal logo up after the 4th.

Nah dude the original is always gonna be the best. Its got character unlike the new one.

The new logo is starting to grow on me.. and i hope this bodes for a new style in graphics and merchandise and the band to step away from the 13 a dozen skulls and grunge looks.. they;re getting pretty old doing the same style for a decade..
Both Mark and Myles have confirmed me the new logo is actually the new logo and not a mistake on the new signup page. "Updated for 2016" and "Time for a change!" were part of their responses.

I think they could've done better indeed, but it doesn't really bother me that much. It's kinda like when your girlfriend gets a new haircut and you don't like it, but you deal with it because you love her.

I can understand the need for a new logo. Just won't believe the above is actually it, for two reasons;
1) Its poorly executed/rendered
2) Its not a new logo outside of the A & E's design being simplified/ set back to standard un-designed font.
It still looks like a mistake/ temporary to me.
