He did say it. He was bummed that the song might not make the album. I'm sure Shea can help us find that interview.

I can't help you find it right now, but it was from a track by track done by Ulitmate Guitar or Guitar World or something.

Definitely don't see why that would be his favorite lol. When he's written solos like Brand New Start, having that be his favorite on this album is...weird.

No it's not. From 6:10- end of the song, the main guitar is Myles.

How can anyone actually confirm this? It could be either if them. It sounds like a Mark shred too because it's not as crisp as Myles' playing. More noodlie like Marks.

Based on their interview speaking about dual solos on TLH with Myles taking the first and Mark taking the second, and Myles taking the corresponding outtro. That last outtro is definitely Myles unless Mark's guitar is just layered on top of each other, which they don't usually (or ever really) do.

I feel like Myles' best solo is on Cradle.

Bleed it Dry is my favourite solo from Mark. It is so reminiscent of another that I have to believe there was some influence. Have you heard of a Band called Savatage? Their album Edge of Thorns from 1993 has a song called Follow Me. Take a listen to the whole solo and tell me it isn't similar.
I agree, Bleed It Dry is Mark's best solo, IMO. The best AB solo overall is Blackbird, but that's because of the combination of Myles' and Mark's solos.

We might not be able to change your mind, but the fact is that's a Mark solo.

Right. Crows is Myles, Cradle is Mark.
