I think I'll add re: Fools, that if the mix is a problem, I chalk that up to the mixing philosophy of the entire album, as opposed to the song itself. I do think the main riff could be a little better defined, but that's again a problem that almost every track faces. Honestly though, the whole album grows on me with each listen.

Really tough choice. It's definitely between Cradle To The Grave, This Side Of Fate and Island Of Fools because I feel like those are the best songs on TLH by far. Decided to go with Cradle though because, in my eyes, it's definitely the Blackbird of this album (an epic melancholic rock ballad), and that's something Fortress actually didn't have. It gives me the strongest feelings out of all TLH tracks, and that's a definite sign that it's my favourite.
