Whether it was done with the camera at the time or recording or edited in post, it looks like they were going for a slow shutter speed effect. That's why it looks sort of "slow mo" even though they are playing in time. I agree with what you're saying, though, and I would have taken it down a notch, personally.cheesedip1 wrote:I didnt like the video because I felt like it was too slow or something. Re: "Show Me a Leader" discussion
I'm having a few issues watching the particular camera angles and quality of the video when focused on the band members.. Other than that; I love the theming and general graphics
Re: "Show Me a Leader" discussion
Not sure if it's.. exactly.. what you mean but I find it a little odd how Mark and Myles are always so close together in the wide shots. And since Mark is kinda leaning at the edge, he towers over Myles almost. Makes things look a little off. That's probably my only real quibble with it allJim wrote:I'm having a few issues watching the particular camera angles and quality of the video when focused on the band members.. I can't imagine that this would end well.nagpo wrote:A cool idea for Show me a leader video...
How about AB showing up at protests ( for both candidates), setting up, and performing the song there.

Imagine how nervous Myles would be for that.

Look out Myles. A new sheriff is in town.
Side note: Playing with a large cut on your finger sucks.

Re: "Show Me a Leader" discussion
The backing track was me as well. I'm working on a cover of it. Only part I'm not sure I'll be able to tackle is Mark's solo because his style is way different than mine. I'm also going to tab it out because I have yet to find a good tab for it.
Re: "Show Me a Leader" discussion
The official video of Show Me a Leader has a like-dislike ratio of 3,4k to 300. That's rather bad. On the other hand it has 96k views, which isn't that bad I'd say.
Re: "Show Me a Leader" discussion
Its just badly executed. The camera should be shaking at least to give that more dynamic feel when the riffs start to kick off. The camera is so static it hurts my eyes.Jaded Rescue wrote:Whether it was done with the camera at the time or recording or edited in post, it looks like they were going for a slow shutter speed effect. Re: "Show Me a Leader" discussion
A little more than 24 h later, the video already has 130k views. This seems like a big jump. Did they get featured somewhere?Mr. Slash wrote:The official video of Show Me a Leader has a like-dislike ratio of 3,4k to 300. That's rather bad. I like to think that videos under Vevo would have a higher climb in views than if they were to put it in their own channel.
My Trip to Orlando and Raleigh to see AB Posts
