I've just heard the vocal alterations Myles is making live and all I can suggest is he's preserving his throat by doing it.. He wont have to open his throat up as much by doing it

Well it's not like he's going to get arms like those from just going there once or twice a week. Maybe he doesn't even go to the gym. The only way to know is to ask the man on Twitter if/how often he works out.

Oh, and Mark puts a little too much distortion into the picked parts of Blackbird, at least for my taste.

Ooh I was going to mention this. Seems like Mark's new rig precludes him from producing a totally clean sound now that the Fender Twins are gone.

I would assume they are gone for the run with Disturbed and BB. The less rig they have to carry the better. They are only playing like 5 songs so it doesn't make sense to carry that much baggage.

I think Tim Tournier said something to the effect of, "it's all gone... this is the new rig now," which leads me to believe Mark will be continuing with the scaled-down rig for the foreseeable future. Maybe his time spent with the smaller Tremonti setup has convinced him that simpler is better.

Yea, he mentioned in interviews how he used to worry a lot over his live sound a lot with Alter Bridge, and with Tremonti he'd just make sure he could hear his voice and not worry too much about the rest. I guess that must've been very liberating to him.
