Alter Bridge Listening party
Re: Alter Bridge Listening party
Yeah I've been there, my brother lives just outside of Austin in Round Rock. My parents lived there for a little when my dad retired too, but they've moved back to California now.

I live there. Don't listen to him. It's awful really. Don't visit and definitely don't move here!AB23 wrote:austin is my fav city in the country. Seriously. If any of you haven't been, its worth a 4-5 day trip.
Kidding. It's lovely, but so crowded lol
Re: Alter Bridge Listening party
i go to austin a ton, and my only bad experience was some hippie flipping me off when I walked under the bat bridge because #environment

It's crowded.... I live in the Los Angeles area. It's nowhere close to here.

Sad, but true. Though he sounded better on Fortress than he did on AB III.AB23 wrote:Ya Myles having that amazing low growl-ish in his voice is done, I think. Last I heard it was hints of it on Blackbird. He is who he is now.
Incredible voice regardless, just not that same impact I don't think

I don't know, if you think about the final part of Words, the intro of Calm The Fire or his entire performance in Lover, there's nothing to miss for me.AB23 wrote:Ya Myles having that amazing low growl-ish in his voice is done, I think. Obviously he's shown flashes of his old self, just like I have with my comedy.
Re: Alter Bridge Listening party
I'm still buffed up though, just not funny. Having a depressing job will do that to you.

Shea's pretty funny though, albeit unintentionally.

Also... how epic was the previously mentioned dude's hangover? On a scale of 1 to kill me.

Zaz said on Facebook that he didn't notice a lot of riffs. "More like chords". That's the only new information we got out of him. But he confirmed that he really liked tracks 3 and 4!

This makes me excited, like maybe the music the band creates this time will actually sound like songs, and not just parts.Timotheus wrote:Zaz said on Facebook that he didn't notice a lot of riffs. "More like chords".

He kept closing one eye when we were eating after the show and he also would throw his hamburger down almost in disgust after every single bite.Crumbso wrote:Also... how epic was the previously mentioned dude's hangover? On a scale of 1 to kill me.
