Weren't you the one that started it though? I'm not attacking you, just making an observation.Blackbird wrote:Yeah, guess I simply don't understand that. ^^ It's useless to discuss about it anyway, let's not turn this topic into something completely unrelated to AB.AB23 wrote:They make an oath to the constitution to fight for us, many times unwillingly, and die for us. Just because they take pride in our country's flags and ideals.
Its not that we're proud of our country JUST BECAUSE of them. Its that we're proud of our country THROUGH their actions and bravery.
Many times on social media or just in general, people spout off misinformed "opinions." They buy what the media sells to them. Just like you shouldn't base an entire religion on a few bad apples, nobody wants their group painted with a broad brush based on the actions of some. No country has been perfect throughout history. Just like people who say they hate America but if they lived somewhere else, they wouldn't be able to speak their minds without repercussions. Here, you can do whatever you want.
Wasn't trying to derail the thread but wanted to weigh in. I'm not a regular concert attendee. I love a live album but it's virtually the same set list. With that intimate setting, they could have done some surprises.
I still would love, if it's ever possible, a multi-night event like Joe Bonamassa did where AB goes through each album or something. One night could be Mark & Myles going through an all-acoustic set. The next night, it's a a combo of ODR & Blackbird. The next night is ABIII, Fortress, and Last Hero.
I'd fork out money for the entire set of "concerts."
