Addicted to Pain came out the second week of August, for an idea of when this single might drop.

That was kinda my guess. A month from now would be the first to second week of August.

Might seem a silly question but why do they have different singles for each country or continent?

Is it for muscial reasons e.g. heavy stuff for certain places etc or is it to get as much new music out as possible so to ramp up the interest in the album in general?

Radio Airplay is much more important in the USA than in Europe.. In the USA it seems pppl only attend concerts for bands they hear on the radio.. In Europe ppl just go.. in masses.. as radio is shit over here anyways.. haha.. have never ever heard Alter Bridge being played on the radio here.. yet they sell out 5500 every time they drop by...

Wow. As a big fan of rock, it makes me wish it was more like that in the States.

----In reply to a previous comment, Trapt uses a 7 string on their first 2 records (not every single song on those records, but most).

gbruin wrote:Monty, you'll like You Will Be Remembered. That was the closest to a ballad. Sort of like Life Must Go On. Myles told zaz it was likely to make him cry.
How drunk was zaz at this point?

Bit bummed there isn't a real ballad, but all the news is so promising so far, that I don't mind. Looking forward to the more in detail reviews. Thanks for checking in so early, everybody who's been giving us snippets!

I'm curious if anyone can confirm which song had the ebow in it? I've been really curious as to how that song turned out.

How did Myles sound? I hope less nasally than on Fortress and more like Myles.

I think the nasally sound is what Myles is now.. especially when he goes for the higher notes. It's to protect his voice, which I understand. I'm sure he has learned what works with the constant stress the Slash/GNR stuff put on his vocals.

Ya Myles having that amazing low growl-ish in his voice is done, I think. Last I heard it was hints of it on Blackbird. He is who he is now.

Incredible voice regardless, just not that same impact I don't think

I just got to the airport. Pretty much flying all day. I land back home at 4pm Pacific time. Quick layover in Austin on the way.
