Re: AB V
I hope we see some pics of Mark recording possible lead vocal or two once they get to that stage. Or a pic of Myles mid-solo

Re: AB V
Maybe he was using that for some blues lead. I really want to hear more bluesy stuff from MK on an AB record.

Ebows make me think of bands like Sigur Rós and Radiohead. Myles will probably use it in a more straight-forward way, but with stuff like Calm The Fire on Fortress and Slip To The Void on AB III, one can dream.

Re: AB V
Pretty excited about the ebow. A couple of my favourite songs prominently feature it.

Re: AB V
The ebow and the crazy overdubs with the Jazz guitars has me excited. From the looks of the board, they will probably be featured in the same song though.

Ya, I was kinda thinking that he looked borderline unhealthy, haha.Jim wrote:You can tell they're recent, Myles is looking really thin lately
I'm really freakin pumped about the e-bow. More than anything I was ever pumped about on Fortress. That excites me so much. When I study (which has basically consumed my life), I listen to "chill out" radio on Pandora. A lot of the songs on from the chill out radio use e-bow.
Can you guys tell if there is an e-bow used in this song? Its one of my favorites. Dayvan Cowboy- Boards of Canada. Let the song go for about 2 minutes or so and I think you can hear something e-bow sounding
