Myles is a HUGE Aerosmith fan, so don't rule that completely out.. Would be a shame for fans to see him spread so thinly again.. But I don't think he'd turn it down

Someone posted a live video in the ABV thread about what riff they like to hear for an AB song, but I can't find that damn video. It was in a live guitar battle and Mark was playing his platinum singlecut, and yeah, that riff was super heavy. Can someone give me the link?

Yeah at 2:32-2:52

I hope that's all original and no copy-riff from something I haven't heard.

Sounds very much like something that would go on his solo albums. Especially All I Was.

It's just a generic, speed metal riff to be honest...

Yea, he can release stuff like that with Tremonti, but with Alter Bridge I expect some more creativity.

This is the video you are looking for, the one I posted a while ago. You can see much better in this one. Riff starts at about 58 seconds. Its the part at 104 that I really like, I think he may have used part of it in Once Dead.

Well, this is an interesting find. Apparently, this was recorded in 2013, but there are some familiar faces you guys should recognize that took part in this. There are two that you definitely should recognize especially at around 0:06 and 0:09.

^ Great find, Anguyen! Really curious to know how long they could hold it up!

Ugh, that intro is so good. Why don't they do more (or any) intros / outros?

Well, the intro for ABIII shows was the Slip to the Void intro, and the intro to the Fortress shows was the strings leading to Addicted to Pain.

Just making sure :P Yeah I know, right? Or more experimental intros and interludes in concert. Like that one video of The End Is Here live in Roma has that intro they did.

If they had more stuff like this that'd be cool.

Damn, I'd never seen that before, that's really cool and it makes it seem like they really care about the song to add to it. I don't mind some of the plug and play intros but I do love retroactive additions (like the way Mark finishes the Open Your Eyes solo now) because they're supplemental and have been done to match the song.

Imagine if they'd added that to the Wembley DVD...

There supposedly are a lot of different sounds on the new album. Mark keeps repeating that in interviews, so hopefully there will be something super moody like that on AB V.

Mark with long hair, to be as cool as dimebag and hammet. Maybe this was a thing.
